General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap alum is making a big move! GH fans will remember Bryan Craig from his time playing Morgan Corinthos in Port Charles. Many viewers have been holding out hope for a comeback, but Craig’s latest decision rules that out for now. He’s decided to trade Los Angeles for New York, so he’s moving across the country and far away from where GH films.
On Instagram, Craig reflected on leaving LA and offered an explanation. He’s had this move on his mind for a while, so he finally determined he just had to go for it. Craig indicated that his passion remains, which undoubtedly means he intends to pursue acting opportunities in NYC and other surrounding areas. There are certainly lots of roles beyond the typical Hollywood scene.
“Same love, same passion, different city,” Craig said in his post. “LA you’ve been home for over 11 years and it’s been a great 11 years. Thanks to everyone that’s been a part of my life here and will continue to be. This has been something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now, so feels good to finally be doing it. New York is home and I look forward to everything that’s to come.”
Craig also chose a fantastic pic to go with his huge news. It featured Craig looking out at the New York skyline at night – a city buzzing with potential! Lots of General Hospital viewers have been following Craig’s career since his departure from GH. They’ll undoubtedly keep following Craig as he goes off on this new adventure. He’s just making some updates to his career plan and seeing what happens.
It didn’t take long for supportive comments to roll in. “Congrats on your new chapter!!” one Instagram user said. Another fan posted, “Welcome to the east coast!” “You in the theater capital of the world…such a fabulous move,” one more fan said. “Hope to see you on one of my annual pilgrimages to get my Broadway fix. Break legs, break hearts, break some new ground, Bryan. So excited for you!”
Anthony Montgomery (Andre Maddox) also had some congratulatory words for Craig along with an admission. Montgomery revealed that he’s considering taking the leap as well. “I’m thinking about the move myself,” Montgomery said. “I’ll see you there! Have fun, B! Shine!!” Craig replied, “do it!” He’d no doubt like to have the company as he settles in and prepares for whatever’s ahead.
It’s unfortunate that Bryan Craig won’t be reprising his role as Morgan Corinthos anytime soon, but we all wish him the best of luck!
