General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there may be some truth to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) observation. GH fans know Ava recently had some advice for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Ava argued that Nina deserved better than Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Jax may be kind, handsome and charming, but is he truly committed? Not in Ava’s opinion!
Ava suggested that any woman in Jax’s life will always come in second to Carly. Nina may get Jax’s love, but Ava doesn’t think Nina will ever get his true devotion. That seems to be reserved for Carly and Carly alone in Ava’s eyes. Jax and Carly are always going to have a special bond. They’re connected through Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but it’s about more than that.
Carly’s commented before on her unusual relationship with her ex. Jax has remained a close friend of Carly’s despite any issues they’ve faced along the way. Almost all soap characters are going to clash from time to time, but Jax and Carly always manage to work it out. There’s also that classic “CarJax” chemistry that never goes away!
Will GH once again take advantage of that chemistry? General Hospital viewers watched along with Nina as Jax and Carly shared a tender moment – complete with hand touching. That doesn’t necessarily mean Carly and Jax will hook up again, but we certainly can’t rule it out.
Things are already chaotic in Carly’s world right now, but General Hospital fans can expect things to get even worse! Carly will be spinning out in coming weeks due to this whole situation with Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier).
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also struggle and potentially shut out his loved ones as he faces Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) looming death.
These are the kind of obstacles that can push a soap couple to their breaking point. The pressure’s really piling up for “CarSon” here. We’ve got the custody battle, Nelle’s lawsuit, Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mob drama, Mike’s decline and plenty of kids to juggle – including the latest Corinthos family addition, Donna Corinthos.
It was strange for Ava to make that comment about Jax and Carly out of the blue. Ava wasn’t wrong about Jax putting Carly first, but Jax hasn’t even been in Carly’s orbit that much lately. The fact that Ava piped up now could mean GH has something brewing. It’ll be interesting to see if a “CarJax” hookup happens down the road.
