General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may find himself facing a moral dilemma. GH fans know Chase hates Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) with a passion – and rightly so. Nelle nearly destroyed Chase’s career several years back. Now Nelle’s destroyed Chase’s romantic future with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), too.
If it weren’t for Nelle, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could’ve happily co-parented with Willow – no marriage certificate necessary. However, Chase had to make sure Michael could beat Nelle in court. That led to Chase and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) fake affair to force the “Millow” wedding.
Michael scored sole custody, but it clearly cost both Sasha and Chase a great deal. Since all Chase’s pain can be traced back to Nelle, he certainly has some good reasons to loathe her. That’s why a tricky situation may be headed Chase’s way.
Will Chase end up in a position where he can either save Nelle or let her die? Let’s consider the storyline that GH has cooking right now. Nelle is set to kidnap Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) during the Nurses Ball, but her plan will hit some major hurdles – most likely courtesy of Julian Jerome (William deVry).
General Hospital spoilers point to Julian potentially carrying out a kidnapping plot of his own. Nelle will wind up at a serious disadvantage during the week of August 24-28, so she may be at Julian’s mercy.
Meanwhile, Chase will follow some clues. Could those clues lead Chase to captive Nelle? Nelle might be held hostage while Julian decides if he’s going to murder her.
Just imagine Nelle begging Chase for freedom – knowing this man she’s tormented is the one person who could save her life. Chase would have a tough decision to make since walking away would end everyone’s Nelle problems for good.
It could even lead to Willow and Michael’s divorce! In other words, a dead Nelle would fix what’s wrong for Chase and so many others.
If Chase uncovers Julian’s fatal plot – or at least what he believes is a fatal plot – he might be tempted to just let Julian go through with it. However, the cop in Chase might not be willing to do that. Chase has a big heart and would probably find it difficult to just let Nelle die.
As horrible as Nelle is, she’s a human being and Wiley’s biological mother. Wiley might grow up to resent Willow if he found out her ex did nothing to help. Will Chase feel forced to save Nelle from a grim fate? Will Nelle owe Chase her life by the end of all this?
Someone will have to save Nelle since she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. It might as well be Chase since it’d be a hard thing for him to do! We’ll bring you updates as other GH news rolls in.
