General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may eventually decide he has no choice but to move on. Chase is still in love with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and perhaps always will be, but she’s married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) now. That’s not going to change anytime soon since Michael and Willow have to stick together for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) sake.
No matter the outcome of this custody case, Michael and Willow can’t bail on this marriage. They both knew this would be a long-term commitment when they signed on to do this.
If Michael wins in court, he still has to deliver on his promises and provide a stable home with Willow. If Michael loses, he’ll need to keep fighting Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) with Willow by his side.
Either way, Willow and Michael are stuck with each other for a while – and they seem perfectly fine with that. There’s a good chance Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) prediction about Willow will come true.
Sasha feels confident that Willow’s going to fall madly in love with Michael as they build their family. It seems like the obvious story route to take under the circumstances.
Where does that leave Chase? To be honest, Chase is far too sweet and handsome to stay single! GH took long enough to even give Chase this pairing with Willow, which was ultimately destroyed. Although Chase may get back together with Willow eventually, there’s no reason to keep him in romantic limbo.
It’d be better for Chase to realize he has to let Willow go. That’d allow Chase to move on, but who should he move on with? Sasha and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are both great options, so let’s discuss what’s appealing about each one.
With Sasha, Chase has been through this tough experience with her. Only Sasha can really understand what Chase is going through right now. Chase and Sasha made a sacrifice together when they had a fake affair. Their plan to push Willow and Michael into marriage worked, so Chase and Sasha could continue to connect over the consequences.
Since Sasha’s getting into drugs, Chase could even be the one to intervene and put her on the right path. It’s easy to imagine all of this resulting in a real romance for Chase and Sasha, who’s a lot like Willow are her core.
Then again, maybe Chase could use someone who’s less similar. General Hospital has a feistier option available through Brook Lynn. Her personality isn’t much like gentle Willow’s, but Brook Lynn still has a good heart deep down.
Since Chase has a habit of arresting Brook Lynn, GH has set them up as a potential couple. That’s just the kind of thing that tends to happen when you’re building a “hate turns to love” kind of relationship. If Chase can’t be with Willow, who’s the next best thing? Would you like to see Chase move on with Sasha or Brook Lynn?
