General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may need someone to lean on down the road. On the December 22 episode, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) came clean to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about his hookup with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) – which happened the night before she married Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
Finn was so ashamed that he stayed away for a whole year before he decided to come clean. He wanted to give Jackie a heads-up first, but his plans changed when he saw the baby boy in her arms.
Anna immediately jumped to the conclusion many General Hospital fans have and wondered if Finn might be Chase’s father, but Jackie swore up and down that Gregory was indeed Chase’s dad.
However, Finn never pushed for a DNA test. He saw what a perfect family Jackie, Gregory and Chase had become, so he determined that Chase would be his brother – no matter what.
Of course, it’s doubtful this secret is going to stay buried forever. Chase and Finn have such a wonderful, brotherly bond, but GH is bound to wreck it for drama’s sake. It’s the soapy thing to do!
With that in mind, we should start thinking about the aftermath of this shocker. Can you imagine how poor Chase is going to feel? Chase’s world is going to be turned upside down in a big way.
Fortunately, there’s someone who’ll be able to understand what Chase is going through on some level – and that’s Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
Willow formed a strong bond with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) when she believed he was her biological son. She was devastated when she realized Wiley was actually Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) child instead.
Naturally, Willow had the added heartbreak of knowing her own baby was dead, but there’s still a similar angle for GH writers to work with. Willow can step up and assure Chase that this doesn’t have to change his bond with Gregory or Finn – just like Willow doesn’t need blood ties to be Wiley’s mother.
Even if Finn is Chase’s biological dad, there’s still a way forward for this family.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase and Willow should grow closer during this crisis, so how will that affect Willow’s marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)?
Something tells us it won’t be that easy for Willow to put Michael in the rearview mirror. Even if Willow and Chase fully reunite, Willow may find herself pining for Michael and wondering if he’s the man she’s meant to be with.
