General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that something just doesn’t add up when it comes to Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death. Neil died of respiratory failure due to a drug overdose, but this obviously wasn’t his doing. Someone wanted Neil dead and used this overdose as a way to make it happen.
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) jumped to the wrong conclusion when she assumed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was to blame. Cyrus shut down that idea and privately phoned someone to see where the drugs that killed Neil came from. If Cyrus doesn’t know, he certainly didn’t order Neil’s murder.
As we search for another suspect, let’s consider come intriguing clues. This person seems to know what he or she’s doing when it comes to drug overdose deaths. It’s also someone who must’ve wanted revenge on Neil and maybe even wanted Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to suffer, too.
Could Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) secretly be alive and starting his next reign of terror? GH fans will recall that Shiloh was behind the murder of Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) father, Douglas Miller. Willow found her dad dead of an overdose – just like Alexis found Neil.
Neil played a huge role in getting Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) away from Dawn of Day for Alexis – and the Kristina war fueled the flames of Shiloh’s conflict with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). It’s not unreasonable for Shiloh to target Neil for revenge, especially if Shiloh’s just getting started!
This might simply be the first victim Shiloh has in mind. What if Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) turns up dead from an overdose next? Regardless, it’s interesting that Harmony’s now connected to Cyrus, who’s curious about where the drugs came from.
Cyrus’ digging could easily lead to figuring out Shiloh is alive and still using DOD members to do his dirty work.
Port Charles is crawling with Dawnies, so they might’ve helped Shiloh fake his death after Sam shot him with that flare gun. It’s worth mentioning that Shiloh’s name has been coming up a lot lately.
Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) volunteered information about Shiloh to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) out of the blue. That led to Spinelli riling Peter August (Wes Ramsey) up with Nelle’s info, so Shiloh came up again as Peter worried about buried secrets coming to light.
As GH gears up for Peter’s downfall, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to revive Shiloh himself to expose what he knows. General Hospital could tie several storylines together if they bring Shiloh back from the dead.

That doesn’t mean Shiloh would succeed, but there’d be a long list of people who’d need to watch their backs if Shiloh returned!
