General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the death of Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) will be a major blow for several characters. For starters, there’s Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Joss had a crush on Dev until he pushed her away, which opened the door for Joss to fall for Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Even so, Joss certainly still loved Dev as a friend. Although Dev’s behavior hasn’t been the greatest lately, Joss thought there’d be time to sort through things after she cooled off. Once Josslyn learns Dev died, the loss will inevitably hit her awfully hard.
That’s especially true since Joss already lost Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) at such a young age. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) are certainly going to be affected by Dev’s death as well. This will be a brutal blow to their little crew, which is now without its fourth member.
Of course, GH fans know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has already been trying to process this difficult death. Dev saved Sonny and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) lives in Turkey, so Dante should battle some sadness, too.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been supporting Sonny in the aftermath – and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will soon get support from Carly, too.
Brando had really been starting to bond with his fake son lately, so it’ll be tough to know he won’t have the chance to continue. Thanks to that bomb, Dev’s life has been cut tragically short. All of Dev’s loved ones will have to stick together as they face the difficult task of preparing for Dev’s funeral and burial.
There’s no word yet on whether General Hospital will let all that play out on screen, but there’ll certainly be some crucial goodbye scenes. Dev’s final farewell is coming up, so there’ll be some somber moments and vengeful Port Charles residents soon enough.
