General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dominic Zamprogna (ex-Dante Falconeri) recently took a moment to look back at the last decade. He reflected on everything he’d done – including his time on General Hospital. Plenty of viewers miss Dante and are hopeful that Zamprogna will eventually make a comeback.
Zamprogna didn’t mention the possibility just yet, but the fact that he thinks of GH so fondly is a good sign. He’s repeatedly praised the show in interviews and considers everyone there his extended family. Now Zamprogna’s sending out a message and keeping in touch with General Hospital fans, so Dante could indeed return down the road.
Let’s consider what Zamprogna had to say in his Twitter message. “Never thought of life in terms of decades before this last one,” Zamprogna admitted. “It wasmonumental for me. New country, 10 years on #GH, married the girl of my dreams, had 3 awesome kids, producing/creating!To the next decade! And your vision and clarity making it the best yet! #happynewyear2020.”
Naturally, Zamprogna’s tweet led several GH watchers to pipe up about missing Dante and hoping Zamprogna would come back. He liked another tweet from a fan who reflected on a favorite GH scene.
“Sonny shooting Dante was 100% without a doubt, #gh’s best moment of the decade,” the General Hospital viewer gushed. “That was the last time I can remember being on the edge of my seat and my heart racing while watching the show. @MauriceBenard & @dom_zamprogna were MAGIC! I need them back in this decade.”
If Zamprogna’s liking a tweet from someone who wants him back in this decade, perhaps that means he’s open to the idea. Zamprogna may pursue other projects for a while and eventually settle back in Port Charles. Based on some preview info for 2020, there’s even a possibility we’ll see Dante in the coming year.
GH could even decide to recast if they want Dante faster than Zamprogna can commit to. Dustin seems like a nice guy, but he doesn’t have much depth and has no solid connections in town.
Dante was arguably a much better love interest for Lulu, so General Hospital might be tempted to bring Dante back in some form sooner rather than later.
