General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) intends to do whatever it takes to put Dolores Maloney (Andi Chapman) in her place. Dolores is currently standing in the way of Sam and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) reunion, which Sam just won’t stand for. She’s determined to make a full-blown reunion happen no matter what, so she’ll probably get her wish.
Of course, we have to consider what’ll happen in the next chapter for Sam and Jason. General Hospital writers have proven that they can’t let them stay in a blissful bubble.
There always has to be some “JaSam” obstacle just around the corner. Could Drew’s survival be the next one? Will GH reveal that Drew’s still alive and bring him back for a love triangle?
It’s an option to consider, especially since there are some rumblings about a possible recast for one General Hospital character. The show did Billy Miller dirty with his exit, so he may not be keen on coming back. Miller seems content to focus on primetime work and other projects anyway.
A Drew recast would make sense under the circumstances. It’s worth at least mulling over Drew as a possibility here. Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) has a great fill-in dad since Jason has stepped up in Drew’s absence.
However, Drew will always be Scout’s true father. There was talk of Scout’s memories fading not too long ago. Sam knew Drew would just become stories that were told to Scout eventually.
GH writers could give Scout a chance to make new memories with her bio dad. Will they ultimately bring Drew back on the scene? Since we know Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will try to find a scapegoat for his crimes, that’s another reason for a potential Drew return.
Perhaps Drew himself has information that could bring Peter down. If Drew’s been in captivity all this time, he could set the record straight.
Bottom line, there are some excellent storylines that could come from Drew’s comeback, especially if it leads to a bit of a romantic shakeup for Sam. General Hospital spoilers, news and updates say some bombs will drop down the road, so stay tuned to see if Drew’s return is part of the action.
