General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, December 18, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will wrap her head around the bomb Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) just dropped.
Cyrus showed up at the long-term care facility in Vermont and admitted Florence Grey is his mother. Laura was obviously shocked, but it’ll all make sense to her soon enough.
It’ll become clear to Laura that Cyrus is in the loop on Gordon Grey being her biological father. “You knew all along, didn’t you?” Laura asks in Friday’s GH episode. Cyrus will suggest this is quite a party and will undoubtedly taunt Laura about the family reunion.
At some point, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will grill Cyrus about his motives. He’ll most likely try to determine what Cyrus’ agenda is when it comes to Laura. Martin knows his brother is trouble, so he’ll worry about what might be coming next.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will wonder if the idea of Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) being alive sounded crazy. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will admit it didn’t sound crazy since it’s true!
She’ll reveal that Cyrus was right about Taggert faking his death to protect Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), so Josslyn will have a lot to process.
At the PCPD, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will demand some answers from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). “Before today, did you know that that man was still breathing?” a livid Curtis asks in Friday’s preview clip.
Jordan will look incredibly guilty as she comes clean about being in on the faked death scheme. It’ll infuriate Curtis when he gets confirmation on Jordan lying to him for months.
Curtis won’t be happy about the pain Trina and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) endured thanks to this plan either. Speaking of plans, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will wonder if there’s one in place in case of a certain situation.
Diane will talk to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about the bus station shootout and what’s ahead while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) faces off with Julian Jerome (William deVry).
As Sonny holds Julian at gunpoint, he’ll insist this is Julian’s big chance to live. General Hospital spoilers say death is looming for Julian, so he’s not going to take Sonny’s offer. However, the real twist here might be in what happens to Sonny. Could a struggle send Sonny tumbling off that bridge, too?
We know Sonny is set to go missing soon, so more drama’s on the way. Jason won’t be able to find Sonny next week, so this should be the start of a new storyline that’ll bring some shockers. As other GH news and updates come in, we’ll keep you posted.
