General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, January 17, teases that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) will return to Port Charles. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) certainly won’t be happy about that, so he’ll quickly grill Taggert about why he’s back. Their past was a contentious one for sure, but Marcus isn’t in town to harass Sonny. It seems Marcus has returned to help Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) investigate Bob Massicotte’s death.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will face some mama drama. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will likely pick up on a weird vibe between Josslyn and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). She’ll wonder what’s up, which will eventually lead her to the conclusion that Joss hit on Dev.
Josslyn will be irritated with Carly for butting in, but she’ll probably spill the whole story anyway. Since Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) told Joss that Dev was interested, Josslyn ultimately made her move. She kissed Dev and got rejected, but Carly may not think she should view it that way.
Dev appreciates the Corinthos family and all they’ve done for him. Taking things into romantic territory with Josslyn could be considered disrespectful and risky. Carly may applaud Dev for using his head, but Joss will still feel like Dev just isn’t that into her.
GH fans can tell Dev genuinely likes Josslyn – at least based on the way he looks at her and other little moments between them. It sounds like they’ll both just be stuck pining for now.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) also has feelings for Joss, even if he won’t admit them to Trina on Friday. She’ll give Cam an eyeroll over his denial and try to convince Cameron that girls don’t like that kind of thing.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will be shocked by Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) idea. After Michael shares his concerns about Nelle, he’ll suggest that Sasha should move in with him. Michael just won’t feel comfortable leaving Sasha as a sitting target alone.
It appears Michael and Sasha will get a new place together in the coming weeks, so he should win any Nelle argument that results. Speaking of Nelle, Jordan will push Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to steer clear of her. Chase already had his career derailed by manipulative Janelle once; he doesn’t need it happening again.
Finally, Nelle will be taken aback when Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) shows up at Brad’s apartment. She’ll fume as she demands to know what Willow’s doing there.
Willow will demand to know the same thing about Nelle! She won’t understand how Brad could let this vicious, crazy woman into his home. Willow certainly won’t want Nelle anywhere near “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson).
Of course, Willow will feel like she’s protecting her son, but she has no clue that’s actually Nelle’s kid! General Hospital spoilers say there’s much more chaos ahead, so stay tuned.
