General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, July 24 – Olivia Explodes Over Dante Replacement – Chase Gets a Warning – Willow Has No Regrets

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 24, tease that we’ll see some surprising moves and stern warnings. GH will re-air an episode that was first seen on May 13, 2020, so fans may want to tune in again. There are some exciting moments in this General Hospital encore, so here’s the scoop if you’re planning to rewatch.

In Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) bedroom at the Quartermaine mansion, she wakes up and seems a bit dazed. Willow reaches for her rings as she reflects on becoming Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) wife last night.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) assures Michael that Willow got an upgrade since her last relationship was with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Michael just doesn’t like the idea of Willow having any regrets about this marriage. A little later, Willow admits she overheard part of Michael and Brook Lynn’s conversation. Willow makes it clear that she’d never regret marrying Michael.

At Turning Woods, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) seems pleased over Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) visit. Ava Jerome (Maura West) thinks she owes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) an apology. She’s sorry for threatening to press kidnapping charges back when Mike got confused and ran off with Avery.

Sonny appreciates Ava’s remorse before Ava has to leave with Avery. On the way out, Avery asks if Ava would ever forget her like Mike forgot Sonny. Ava promises if anything like that ever happened, it’d be in the distant future. Avery would already be all grown up with a family. That doesn’t completely satisfy Avery, who then wonders if she’ll ever forget her mom. Ava smiles and replies, “Just you try!”

Next, Michael pops in and hears the latest news on Mike. Sonny’s really struggling over what Mike would want him to do. Michael thinks if Mike can’t make his end-of-life decisions, Sonny knows him well enough to decide for him. Even so, it’s tough for Sonny to make that call.

Sonny comments on how Mike could still connect with Avery on some level. Mike doesn’t get many of those moments, but Sonny isn’t sure he can deny his dad of however many he might have left. There could still be more if Mike sticks around for a few months.

At the Metro Court, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) gets updates on Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) stepping up for Rocco Falconeri’s (O’Neill Monahan) “Take Your Dad to School Day.”

Olivia’s outraged, but Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) contends this is what Rocco asked for. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will still be represented through a Yankees cap.

Olivia calms herself and gets some reassuring words from Dustin, who isn’t trying to take Dante’s place. Although Olivia gets that and wants Lulu’s happiness, she’ll never stop fighting for Dante’s return to Port Charles.

On Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) sofa, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) awakens and looks concerned when he sees Laura in a robe. Laura jokes that they should pick up where they left off last night, but she then laughs about drunk Robert needing to sleep it off on her couch.

Talk turns to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), so Laura offers advice about Robert’s grieving process.

At Chase’s apartment, he dreams Willow’s hand is on his back in the shower. Chase turns around to Willow, who insists he’s the only one she wants. Willow and Chase kiss passionately under the running water before Chase awakens and gets a call from Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

Chase assures Mac that he’ll be there there, so he arrives and gets scolded about all Brook Lynn’s arrests.

This could look like an abuse of power if Chase keeps this up. Chase defends his arrests since they were all done by the book, but Mac argues this is about how things look. He wants Chase to make peace with Brook Lynn instead of constantly hauling her down to the station.

Willow eventually shows up to tell Chase about her new marriage to Michael. When Willow suggests she thought it’d hurt less if she told him, Chase is surprised to hear she cares about his pain.

Willow makes it clear that Chase is always going to matter to her. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) also pops in the PCPD and stares in Chase’s direction.

Finally, Robert pays Mac a visit. Mac offers up Holly’s death report and agrees with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the ship not going down by accident. General Hospital spoilers say there’s a lot going on in this great GH encore, so stay tuned.
