General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, November 20 Recap - Julian Detonates Bomb - Dustin Proposes To Lulu - Alexis’ Intervention

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 20, reveals that Julian Jerome (William deVry) talked with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on the pier. Julian told Cyrus to take his bomb back and that he wouldn’t plant it in a bar full of people.

Cyrus smoothly told Julian that the bomb wouldn’t go off until after hours when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was summoned back to the bar alone.

Cyrus then gave Julian a phone saying to call him when the bomb was planted, and he took off. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrived on the scene, wondering what Julian was doing with Cyrus.

Julian covered, saying that Cyrus was harping on him to sell the bar again. Julian asked if Alexis had been drinking, and Alexis said she’d had two drinks and was clearing her head to go see Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) kids.

Julian made some comment about Alexis being a positive light in his dark life, and Alexis wondered why it sounded like Julian was saying goodbye. Julian said cryptically that he was doing everything he could to stay. Alexis took off, and Julian picked up a backpack containing the bomb and left.

At Sam’s place, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and Sam were preparing for Alexis’ intervention when Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) arrived.

Sam was irritated that Diane brought Valentin, but Diane said that Valentin might be of help during the intervention. Soon, Alexis arrived and quickly learned that an intervention was being staged.

Alexis blasted Sam and Molly, saying that this was an ambush and that she wasn’t staying. Sam said that it was her turn to fight for her mom, and that if Alexis walked out, she’d lose her support system. Sam asked if Alexis wanted to listen or throw them all away.

At the gym, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) was pounding away on the punching bag when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) arrived. Sonny could tell that something was wrong, and Dante admitted that it was Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) that was bothering him.

Sonny urged Dante to admit his feelings to Lulu, and Dante admitted that he loved Lulu and still wanted to be with her.

At the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) talked after their meeting with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

As it turned out, further tests revealed that Franco’s tumor was inoperable, and Elizabeth said that she got Franco an appointment with Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) at Berkeley. Elizabeth and Franco decided to face this head-on and live a long life together.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) left a message for Jason, saying that he needed to get to GH now. Cyrus ambled up behind Britt and asked if there was a problem.

Britt covered, and Cyrus rambled about how he likes to keep tabs at the hospital. Britt said that she was looking forward to playing her part.

At the Floating Rib, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Jason played pool, and Danny worried about his Grandma Alexis and her drinking. Turns out, Danny had overheard Sam talking about Alexis drinking again.

Jason advised Danny to support and love his grandma, and Danny said that he hoped that Alexis didn’t forget about them.

At a table, Lulu talked with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Lulu said that she felt guilty, and that she and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) had plans. Laura said that plans can change, and Lulu said that she didn’t know what she wanted.

Laura advised that Lulu might tell Dustin that now isn’t the right time to move in. Lulu thought that Dustin would probably understand, and she called Dustin to meet her at the bar.

Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) walked in and Cameron told Dev about Franco’s brain tumor.

Dev said that he had something to tell Cameron, and he was about to tell Cameron about faking the entry in Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) journal when Danny called out for Cameron.

Cameron and Danny played a little pool while Dev waited off to the side. On her way out of the bar, Laura texted Jason asking him to meet her in the alley, so Jason excused himself and Cameron and Dev watched Danny and played video games.

Right about then, Julian walked in with the backpack and went to a booth, tucking the bomb underneath the table. Julian didn’t notice that Danny was in the building.

Out in the alley, Laura wanted an update from Jason on Cyrus. Jason said that the truce was holding on the surface, and that Laura needed to talk with Sonny, who was at the gym. Laura took off, and Jason called Britt, who was still at the hospital.

Britt said that she had something for Jason, and that she needed him to come to GH. Jason refused, saying he was with Danny.

Back at Lulu’s table, Dustin arrived, and before Lulu could get a word in edgewise, Dustin said that he had been reevaluating them moving in together. Lulu was immediately relieved, saying that it didn’t feel totally right anymore.

Dustin said that he didn’t want any doubt as to his commitment to their life together, and he whipped out a ring box.

Meanwhile, over near the pool table, Jason returned to Danny, who wanted to continue playing video games with his father. Dev again tried to tell Cameron about Josslyn’s journal, but just then Elizabeth and Franco walked in, and Cameron wanted to talk with them to apologize for his behavior earlier that evening.

Dev went to the booth where Julian was sitting, and he found the package with the bomb in it. “What the hell?” Dev said, as he examined the package. Dev went to the bartender, saying that there was a suspicious bag under the booth.

Back with Lulu and Dustin, Dustin said that he wanted to make what they have permanent, and he got down on one knee to propose. Lulu was aghast as Dustin said that he loved her with all his heart and asked her to marry him.

Back at the gym, Sonny was visited by Laura. Dante walked out of a back room and surprised Laura, who as thrilled to see him. Lulu mentioned on purpose that Lulu was over at the Floating Rib, and Dante took off. Laura then told Sonny that she needed to talk with him about something and that it couldn’t wait.

Back at the hospital, Britt went into Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) room to bring him pain meds. Britt said that she spoke to Jason, but that he couldn’t come right away to see them. Brad worried about his future. “If Jason doesn’t help me, I’m as good as dead,” Brad said.

On the pier, Julian took out the phone that Cyrus gave him in, but when he pressed the call button to call Cyrus and report that the bomb had been placed, the bomb inside the Floating Rib exploded, just as Dante was approaching the building.
