General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 9, tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will leave Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) puzzled and then a bit suspicious. Josslyn will drop a hint about backing out of some plans, so a surprised Carly will wonder if Joss is looking for a reason to cancel.
We also know Josslyn will have a derailed strategy on Friday, so this seems to be about the teen love quad that’s going on. Josslyn may try to avoid Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) or even Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Although Joss was there for Trina on The Haunted Star, she’s also had some time to mull over that kiss with Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Josslyn may try to bail on meeting with Trina if she’s battling guilt.
Even so, it’s clear that Joss wants Cam and probably won’t be dropping her pursuit of him.
At Charlie’s Pub, Trina will struggle with rage over Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) fate and the blame game she keeps playing. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will give Trina some good advice when she urges her to take that anger and use it.
Ava may feel like Trina can channel her fury into something positive, but it’ll be hard for Trina to climb out of this funk.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will leave Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) feeling anxious. Monica will corner Ned at the Quartermaine mansion and insist there’s something she needs to discuss with him.
Ned might worry that Monica suspects his cheating secret, but Monica may have something else on her mind.
Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will slip up – and it could come back to haunt her later. After Alexis runs into Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) at the Metro Court, Alexis will mention something about Olivia being out of town.
“You knew I was away?” a confused Olivia asks in Friday’s GH preview video. Alexis may suggest that Ned mentioned when they bumped into each other, but she’ll obviously stay tight-lipped about what happened back at her place!
Still, something tells us Olivia will think back to this moment down the road. Until then, Brook Lynn will have a confession to make.
It sounds like Brook Lynn will come clean about deleting Olivia’s message and offer an apology. Since Brook Lynn almost died from a throat slashing, surely Olivia can cut her a little slack on BLQ’s manipulative move during her recovery.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will be ready to take another big step with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson).
GH fans know Dustin’s between places, so he’s been staying with Lulu until he can find a new home. However, Lulu will feel like Dustin’s already found one.
Lulu will suggest that she likes their current living arrangement and would like to make Dustin’s move-in permanent. Dustin should be on board with that plan, but neither one of them will know Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) just returned to Port Charles.
Dante caught Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) off guard when he arrived at the church just after Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) funeral.
On Friday, Dante will apologize for being late and missing the service. With tears in his eyes, Sonny will insist that Dante’s right on time. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will catch up with Dante and be grateful to have his son back in PC.
As for Cyrus, he’ll push Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) buttons and rile Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) up to. “If one goes down, so does the other,” Cyrus says in Friday’s GH preview clip.
Once Cyrus is done with his intimidation tactics, he’ll have a new demand for Jordan. Cyrus will want to get his hands on a case file, so Jordan will have no choice but to hand it over.
This might be about Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) criminal record or even about Dev, who was mistaken for a burglar and taken to the station when he first showed up in Port Charles.
Cyrus might look for some dirt on Dev – and we all know there’s plenty to be found! Dev will die if he’s deported back to Turkey and attacked by the people after him.
Cyrus is determined to get Brando on his team, so he’ll do whatever he can to make that happen. Over with Brando, he’ll argue with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about the double agent plan.
Brando’s ready to pretend to be Cyrus’ new employee and report back to Sonny. However, Sonny has concerns about the risks.
Brando feels like he can handle this as a former soldier, but Jason will remind him that it’s Sonny’s call. Sonny urged Jason to keep an eye on Brando since he could cause problems, so Jason will indeed try to keep Brando in line.
