General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum Jen Ray Shares Heartbreaking Loss With Fans - Beloved Mother Passed Away

General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about a former GH actress Jen ray. You might remember back a few months ago when Ava Jerome (Maura West) consulted two psychics in her quest to “communicate” with her deceased daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin).

One of those psychics was Chelsea Lam, and she was played by actress Jen Ray.

Chelsea the psychic was the person who bumped into Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and told him not to “take that drive” before he ended up being implanted with Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories from a flash drive at the hands of Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Arthur Cabot (Time Winters).

It was a pivotal storyline, and Chelsea was a critical piece of it.

Well, unfortunately Jen Ray, who played Chelsea, has shared with her social media followers that she recently lost her mother. Jen posted several photos including her mom, along with a lengthy message and some truly beautiful words about her mother.

Jen wrote: “My spunky, sweet, loving, kind, spitfire of a mother…my best friend passed away last night surrounded by her family. We played her favorite songs, we held her hands and kissed her sweet face again and again as she peacefully left this earth.”

Jen continued: “When you hear the words ‘love unconditionally,’ that is what my mom did to everyone in her life, but especially to me, my Dad, my brother, sister-in-law, and niece & nephew. We were her world and she was our world. She will always be at the center of mine!”

Jen then continued, describing how her mother took care of her family and supported Jen’s hopes and dreams throughout the years. Jen explained that her mom had been able to share two days on set with her on the set of The Middle, and she even referenced her mom’s support for her GH role last year.

“We shared my three-week experience of being in General Hospital last year,” Jen wrote. “Every day I got done shooting, I would call her before I even left the lot and her first words…who did you meet today?”

Jen concluded her caption by saying, “Mom, you were truly an angel and I am who I am in this world because of you. I love you. I miss you already. Sweet dreams.”

Jen has received a lot of support and kind words of condolences on her post. One person wrote: “I am so sorry. Your tribute is a beautiful testimony to her mothering and love she so freely gave. Praying for you.” And someone else wrote: “I am so sorry. I hope you take comfort in those wonderful memories.”

We send our sincerest condolences to Jen and her entire family during this time. Stay tuned to General Hospital and don’t forget to check CDL frequently for the latest GH spoilers, daily episode recaps, and news.

My spunky, sweet, loving, kind, spitfire of a mother….. my best friend passed away last night surrounded by her family. We played her favorite songs, we held her hands and kissed her sweet face again and again as she peacefully left this earth. . When you hear the words ‘love unconditionally’ that is what my mom did to everyone in her life but especially to me, my Dad, my brother, my sister-in-law and niece & nephew. We were her world and she was our world. She will always be at the center of mine! . Everyone loved my Mom. She judged the dance competitions my girlfriends and I had at slumber parties as a kid, she greeted me with balloons and flowers when I did not get the roles in the plays in High School I wanted, she sent me a real Christmas wreath every year, she always put everyone before herself, she was my biggest fan and always supported my dreams, she made the best boozey dogs, she talked to me on the phone every morning, she sometimes took over my Dad’s phone time at night when she forgot to tell me something that morning, she was fiercely protective of her family, she was an amazing crafter and made so many homemade things we will cherish forever, she loved her stories and we loved talking about them together, she took such good care of her family!!!! . I am not quite sure how I am going to make it without her but I truly know she is going to be with me forever! I am so thankful that we had so many INCREDIBLE memories together with me and my whole family. We had an EPIC super soap weekend meeting all the stars from our ABC stories! I was SO HAPPY to have her share two days on set with me on The Middle! We shared my three week experience of being in General Hospital last year. Everyday I got done shooting, I would call her before I even left the lot and her first words….who did you meet today? But most of all—-my memories with my family. Our many INCREDIBLE trips to Disney World, winter walks at Brookfield Zoo, going to movies, enjoying our favorite holiday *Christmas* together. . Mom, you were truly an angel and I am who I am in this world because of you. I love you. I miss you already. Sweet dreams. ??
