General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will become a target just like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) plans. GH fans know Cyrus recently talked to Julian Jerome (William deVry) about needing to take Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) off the game board.
Cyrus hinted at an explosion designed to kill Jason and doesn’t care about any other bloodshed that might result.
Of course, this is all building to The Floating Rib explosion that’s been in General Hospital spoilers for weeks now. This is going to bring total chaos and some profound losses.
It looks like Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will face a grim fate, but we want to focus on the intended target for a moment. What will the outcome be for Jason and those closest to him?
On November 23, General Hospital spoilers say Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will bail on a conversation with Julian abruptly. That’ll probably be because Sam receives word about the blast and fears for Jason’s life.
We’ll also see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) battle devastation while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) anxiously awaits updates.
It certainly sounds like there’ll be some major worries about Jason’s death. We know Jason isn’t going anywhere and will survive, but GH should deliver quite a scare for Jason’s loved ones.
Once Jason presumably emerges from the rubble and proves he’s all right, what will he do next? This will certainly require a strategy session for Jason and Sonny, who should be ready to declare full-blown war.
On November 25, Sonny will hope to do what’s best for his family members. He can’t let Cyrus put the people he cares about in danger like this, so drastic action will be needed.
It’s possible Jason could fake his death like Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) did, but Cyrus would probably be pretty diligent about double-checking on that.
Now that Cyrus knows Taggert’s death was faked, it should be tough for Jason or anyone else to dupe Cyrus in the same way. Sonny isn’t in the loop on what Julian spilled yet, but it’d be awfully repetitive for GH to do the same type of storyline anyway.
However, Cyrus obviously isn’t going to give up. Once Cyrus realizes his plan to kill Jason failed, he may try again. The best thing Jason and Sonny can do is act fast with a retaliation plot. They need to take Cyrus out before he does any more damage.
After Sonny finds out Cyrus knows about Taggert’s survival, Taggert can join Jason and Sonny in their mission to fight back! The trick may be keeping Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) safe in the midst of all this.
