General Hospital Spoilers: Julian Holds Nelle Hostage, Murder Plan Moves Forward – Time Running Out for Blackmailer?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) may have made a bad call when she fired Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) threatened to skip paying her bill. Nelle also let it slip that she needed all her money to get as far away from Port Charles as possible.

Martin could tell that Nelle had a kidnapping plot in mind, though Nelle tried to cover her blunder.

Now Martin’s fed up with a very problematic client who may not even pay him. A lawsuit won’t do Martin much good if Nelle can’t be found! It would be in Martin’s best interest to stop Nelle from bolting.

Even putting the money issue aside, Nelle has pushed Martin to his limit. Why would Martin be inclined to help Nelle at this point?

That brings us to a crucial part of Nelle’s plan. Nelle told Julian Jerome (William deVry) that she left a sealed envelope at her attorney’s office in the event of her death or disappearance. Upon it’s opening, it’s supposed to send the cops straight to Julian’s door.

That might’ve sounded like a good idea at the time, but now Martin hates Nelle’s guts and isn’t even guaranteed he’ll be compensated for dealing with her.

In other words, Martin would have no problem tossing out that letter at his office – especially if Julian can offer the payment that Nelle’s unwilling to provide.

Without that insurance policy, what’s to stop Julian from killing Nelle? In fact, Ava Jerome (Maura West) brought up Nelle’s potential murder during a recent conversation. Ava wondered what on earth Julian was doing and why he hadn’t killed Nelle yet.

That sealed envelope is the reason why, but it’s a non-issue now for the reasons we mentioned. All it would take is a little chat and some exchanged money to work things out between Martin and Julian.

There’s also Nelle’s kidnapping scheme to consider. If Julian realizes that’s in the works, he certainly can’t let Nelle run with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Julian loves that little boy as if he were his own grandson. He also can’t stop Nelle or she’ll blab, so Julian’s wheels may start turning. Could Nelle be the one who winds up kidnapped instead?

It’s easy to imagine Julian holding Nelle hostage until he can figure out his next move. In a new Nurses Ball promo, Ava asks Julian where that poisonous wife of his is. Will Julian lock Nelle up somewhere while he decides if he’s going to kill her?

Julian might want to make sure that letter’s out of the picture before he takes that drastic step.

Keep in mind that Julian tampered with the brakes on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) car. Julian was willing to kill his own son’s husband! You’d better believe Julian would consider – and perhaps even enjoy – killing Nelle.

Regardless, the sealed envelope is useless now that Martin’s not on Nelle’s side. General Hospital spoilers say Julian will make a life-altering decision soon, so Nelle could be in grave danger.

Of course, Nelle obviously won’t die, but we could see her in a hostage situation where she believes she will. Julian might plan to get rid of Nelle permanently before she’s rescued.
