General Hospital Spoilers: Kirsten Storms Shows Off Cynthia Watros Gift – Shares Dress-Up Tips For Coping With Self-Isolation

General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some news to pass on about a popular GH star. Kirsten Storms, who portrays Maxie Jones on the ABC soap, recently shared an update on Instagram about one way that she’s coping with the new COVID-19 situation – namely, the fact that she’s staying at home for long periods of time as is everyone.

Kirsten posted a photo of herself in a full-length mirror, showing off her outfit for the day, along with the following caption: “I’m finding that it’s comforting and mentally healthy for me to get dressed every day and avoid staying in sweats or PJs.”

Kirsten continued: “Today’s ‘Lockdown Look’ is a super soft and cute sweatshirt that was a gift from the lovely @watros.watros (this beautifully puffy sleeved light heather gray sweatshirt is from @thisisthegreat_)! I saw her wearing one at work and told her how much I LOVED it…next thing I know, there was a beautifully wrapped package in my dressing room from Cynthia and inside was what is now one of my favorite pieces of clothing.”

Kirsten concluded: “She’s the sweetest! Jeans are by @blanknycjeans – shoes are platform @converse. Thanks again @watros.watros! I think of you every time I wear it.”

Of course, Kirsten is talking about Cynthia Watros, who portrays Nina Reeves on GH – it’s a sweet story!

Kirsten’s followers on Instagram have been steadily responding to Kirsten’s post, and many have shared that they, too, are getting dressed up each day while in “lockdown” in order to feel better about the whole situation.

For example, one person replied: “I am the same way. I need to get dressed and put on a little makeup for my mental well-being even exercising isn’t enough now. Would be better if our garden, flowers, and pool were up and going.”

And someone else commented: “Looking great! My mental health and motivations are better if I get dressed, though I’ll allow an occasional PJ/lounge day. Been doing my makeup too on most days.” And another person said: “Me too! Got up, showered, full makeup, hair, and jeans! Feels so good!”

It’s great to see Kirsten sharing some tips for staying positive and upbeat during this time of social distancing and staying inside and away from others. It’s definitely a big change for many of us to be at home all of the time, so we all need ways to cope and feel better about the situation.

Kirsten Storms’ updates are great, and we hope to see more of them going forward! Stay tuned to the ABC soap and be sure to consult CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, news, and recaps.
