General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) could be on the road to reconciliation. GH fans know Brad tore his marriage apart by swapping babies with Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and letting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) believe his own son was dead.
Once the truth came out, Brad lost his family and was sent for a lengthy stay in Pentonville.
However, there could be hope for Brad’s future with Lucas. If there’s one way to bring two General Hospital characters together, it’s through a life-threatening crisis! Since Matt Trudeau recently debuted as a Lucas recast, he’ll obviously play an important role in Brad’s story.
Brad was just attacked in prison thanks to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) deadly orders. Cyrus told Julian Jerome (William DeVry) he was tying up loose ends since Cyrus wants to be the only one with leverage.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was horrified when Brad was suddenly wheeled in GH.
You can bet Lucas will be concerned as well, so it probably won’t be long until he pays Brad a visit. Brad will thankfully survive this ordeal, though he’ll still be tormented in his mind.
During the week of November 23-27, Britt will walk in Brad’s hospital room and see that he’s having a nightmare.
It’s possible Brad will mention something about Cyrus and confirm who his attacker worked for. Then again, it’s also possible Brad will still be having nightmares about Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) and the pain he caused Lucas.
It’s easy to imagine Brad shouting that he’s sorry and begging for Lucas’ forgiveness in his sleep.
Whatever the case, Britt is Brad’s bestie and will want to help him. Perhaps Britt will encourage Lucas to forgive Brad and consider giving him another chance.
Since Nelle was able to shorten her sentence, then Brad certainly could. Nobody stays behind bars for the appropriate amount of time on soaps, so there’s hope for Brad and Lucas’ new chapter together.
Maybe the hit Cyrus ordered could be a blessing in disguise! If it helps warm Lucas’ heart and convinces him to give Brad one more shot, it’ll be worth it in the end. We’ll pass along updates as other GH news pops up.
