General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is on the verge of getting her heart broken. It took a while for Maxie to fully trust Peter August (Wes Ramsey) again after he was revealed as Heinrik Faison, but she got there eventually. Now Maxie has total faith in Peter – and that faith is destined to be shattered.
Maxie’s always first in line to defend Peter and make it clear that he’s a changed man. How’s Maxie going to feel when she realizes Peter hasn’t changed at all? If anything, Peter’s gotten worse! If Peter truly cared about Maxie in the way he should, he never would’ve framed Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) for his crimes.
Peter knows how much Liesl means to Maxie and James West (Caleb and Kyler Ends). Not only has Peter separated them, he’s torn them apart in a different way. Maxie can’t look at Liesl the same way now.
Peter justifies it since it’s all about HIM and what HE wants. Maxie deserves someone who will put her first, but Peter only thinks of Peter!
Of course, Peter also ordered Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Montgomery) stabbing, which nearly killed him. There was later another hit on Andre along with one on Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
Those were barely thwarted. Plus, Peter made sure Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) plane went down, which left Drew presumed dead.
Peter is lethal and has no business helping Maxie raising her children – particularly not his half-brother Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) son. When this is all over, what kind of romantic plan will General Hospital have in mind for Maxie? After facing all this Peter horror, Maxie needs to find REAL love again!
On Twitter, Ryan Paevey has expressed interest in returning one day. Since Paevey’s willing to sit down and perhaps work out a deal with GH, could Nathan come back for Maxie down the road? Maxie and Nathan were definitely a successful pairing, so it’d be nice to see the show undo Nathan’s death.
“Naxie” was a couple that just worked – and that’s becoming harder and harder to pull off in the soap world. Maxie could start fresh with someone else, but it’s at least worth considering the possibility that Nathan will reenter the picture.
If not, Paevey could at least reprise his role in spirit form and help Maxie get through her Peter heartbreak! General Hospital spoilers say some tough moments are in Maxie’s future, so we’ll see how she handles them!
