General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, October 12, tease that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will try to wrap her head around Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) return. Dante just showed up on Lulu’s doorstep, which used to be his doorstep, too.
Of course, the timing couldn’t be worse since Lulu just exchanged love declarations with Dustin and invited him to officially move in.
Dante will wonder if he can come in, so Lulu will let him on Monday. Things will be strained as Dante wonders if Lulu wishes he hadn’t come back. Although that’d be easier for Lulu, it’s doubtful she could ever wish that – not when there are so many people who love and miss Dante.
Lulu may reassure Dante about that, but she’ll probably also point out that she’s moved on just as he pushed her to.
While Dante and Lulu have a difficult discussion, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have one of her own with Julian Jerome (William deVry). Ava will point out that they’re supposed to seal the deal today, so she may be referring to the blackmail transaction that may not happen now.
There’s no need to pay off Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) if Ava goes through with the divorce.
Ava also has a potential deal with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) that she needs to follow through on. Ryan wants visits that aren’t hostile and a divorce for Ava. Those are Ryan’s terms or else he’ll send the incriminating letter to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Although obeying Ryan’s orders could prevent Julian from facing Sonny’s deadly wrath, this won’t be an easy decision. Ava’s obviously developed true feelings for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), which is exactly why Ryan wants Ava to divorce him.
Julian will be counting on Ava’s help, but he’ll be left waiting to find out what she’s really going to do.
At GH, Nikolas will open up to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and get some guidance. Britt will ask if that’s how Nikolas wants his story to end, so it sounds like she’ll push Nikolas to follow his heart.
Since Nikolas’ heart is telling him he wants Ava, he may be ready to suggest they make this marriage legit right as she grants a divorce!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have a freak-out. Liz may realize Ava could figure out their whole game and blow up their lives.
Scott may admit things might not work out like they hoped. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will be pretty nonchalant about all this, so Elizabeth will wonder why he’s not more concerned. It’ll be one more way for “Friz” to clash.
Over with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll question Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) about how he’s been helping Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis just let that slip – mostly because she’s drunk and not thinking clearly right now.
Although Alexis tried to be sneaky about drinking vodka instead of club soda, it was kind of hard for Olivia to miss that ginormous vodka bottle! Has Alexis never heard of flasks?
Now Olivia knows Alexis has fallen off the wagon – and soon, Ned will know as well. Alexis lied to Ned about not drinking before, but it’ll become painfully obvious that she’s headed downhill fast.
As for how Ned is “helping” Alexis, he’ll hide the truth about their hookup and hope for the best. Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will lash out at Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who arrived bearing Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) favorite crumb cake from Bridgeport.
Gladys was apologetic about missing Mike’s funeral, but Carly was quick to point out Gladys wasn’t invited.
However, Gladys is clearly working an angle here. She piped up about feeling like Mike told her something on the drive over – that Brando deserved far more than a garage. Gladys will keep at it on Monday as she insists Brando deserves a proper position like the one Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has.
“The ATM is closed! Do we understand each other?” Carly snarls in Monday’s GH preview video. She’ll want to make a bold statement, but Gladys may be part of Sonny’s game. Everything has to look legit if Brando’s going to pretend to work for Cyrus, so Sonny has to play this just right.
It looks like Brando will do his part soon enough. “There’s only one problem with your little theory: I didn’t do it!” Brando shouts in Monday’s preview clip. Sonny and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will both be there glaring at Brando.
By the time all this over, Brando may pretend that he’s ditching family loyalty and ready to work for Cyrus instead!
