General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, September 21, tease that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will have a run-in with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who’ll push Lulu to deliver a message to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Cyrus’ news will surely be something that sounds creepy and vaguely menacing. That’s just how Cyrus rolls, but Lulu will be fed up with this guy’s strange fascination with her mother.
Lulu will call Cyrus out and wonder why he’s so interested in Laura. Cyrus will smile and perhaps offer a cryptic response, but Lulu’s right. Cyrus does seem to have taken a particular interest in Laura since he showed up in town – and that could spell trouble.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will try to get Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) excited about homecoming. “What’s a dance without your best friends?” Joss asks with a grin on Monday’s GH preview.
However, Dev may end up acting weird about it, especially after what happened with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
When Dev gave Cameron advice about choosing between Joss and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Cam tried to act like Dev didn’t know anything and called him asexual. That left Dev riled and many GH fans curious.
Whether Dev is asexual or not, Cameron really shouldn’t be using that as an insult. Cam should know better than that since he stood up for Aiden Webber (Jason David) against bullies who made assumptions about him being gay.
However, there may be more going on here than Dev simply not being sexually attracted to anyone. It just depends on where the writers are going with this.
Dev appeared to show interest in Joss early on before shutting her down, so maybe he’s trying to avoid making a bigger mess. Then again, Dev might’ve been in the closet in Turkey.
Perhaps he’s not ready to come clean about being gay instead. Whatever the case, Dev’s probably going to spark more questions if Joss finds out about him lashing out at Cam.
At GH, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will support Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who just learned she may have osteoporosis. Alexis was taken aback since she thought that’d be a condition for someone much older than her, but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) suggested that was a common misconception.
Once Alexis gets confirmation from a specialist, she’ll wonder why she thought this couldn’t happen to her. It’ll be hard for Alexis to wrap her head about this diagnosis, but Molly will spend the afternoon with her mom and try to help.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will blow up at Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and then at Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), too.
Curtis will rant about how Stella should’ve skipped them this visit. He’ll be hopping mad, so the stress of dealing with Cyrus is probably the underlying factor. It won’t be long until Curtis settles down and seeks Stella out to apologize.
Over with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he’ll ask if Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Carly was reluctant to divulge the cliff incident and cover-up to Sonny, who’s been by Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) side and dealing with a lot.
Now Carly may argue that Sonny’s grieving and doesn’t need something else on his plate. Jax might point out that there’s probably never going to be right time to confess, but Carly may insist on waiting – or even ditching the confession entirely. Maybe Carly will just want to keep this secret with Jax and Jax alone.
Of course, that plan could get tougher thanks to Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) latest discovery. Avery found Nelle’s necklace, which she tucked inside her backpack for safekeeping.
How long until Carly finds what’s inside and recognizes it as the other half of Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) missing half-heart pendant?
We’ll have to wait and see, but Ava will bring Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) with her when she drops Avery off. Sonny and Carly may get updates on Avery wandering off briefly, which could set the stage for Carly to start putting the clues together later.
As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll have a plan that he needs Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) help on. Brando should be willing to help since Sonny’s going to be mourning for a while. Jason and Brando will have to take the lead on handling Cyrus while Sonny comes to grips with Mike’s passing.
