General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) has a sneaky plan – and it’s just getting started! GH fans know Nelle married Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) in prison, so now she’s hoping to score his ELQ shares. However, that’s not the only thing Nelle wants to get her hands on!
Based on Nelle’s vision board, it’s clear that Nelle wants a happy life with “Wiley Cooper-Jones” aka Jonah Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). General Hospital spoilers say Nelle has every intention of getting her son back, but revealing the baby swap would land her right back in jail.
Kidnapping “Wiley” could also put Nelle back in the slammer, so she needs a legal option.
After the memorial mayhem broke out, Nelle brought up “Wiley” and how much Shiloh wanted to be part of his life. Now that the boy’s “father” is gone, Nelle suggested she intends to step up.
When Nelle’s comments prompted outrage from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Nelle argued that she wasn’t going after “Wiley”…YET.
Of course, it’s the “yet” part that’s concerning here. Nelle obviously has a long-game strategy, which may involve trying to get custody as Shiloh’s widow and heir. It would allow Nelle to raise her son without telling Michael the truth or going back to Pentonville for the switch.
Naturally, this is sure to be a tricky task, but if anyone can pull it off – it’s Nelle! If Nelle can make every other parental figure in this scenario look worse than her, that’d be a nice start. Some mob drama seems to be brewing for the Corinthos clan, so the whole family’s going to look dangerous when it explodes.
As for Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), he’s in a coma that nobody knows if he’ll wake up from. Nelle probably thinks she can handle Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) since she’s done a good job of it so far.
If Nelle gets “Wiley’s” adoptive parents out of the way along with godfather Michael, that’ll leave fake birth mom Willow.
Nelle could easily cook up a scheme or two that makes Willow look like an unfit mother. After all, Nelle got Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) thrown in Ferncliff! Regardless, Nelle’s biggest ace in the hole might be her dead husband’s influence.
GH fans can’t forget that Shiloh had a large, obsessed following through his DoD cult. He was adored by many people with the wool pulled over their eyes – including some in high places.
If Nelle can score herself a Dawnie judge, that may seal the deal. Nelle could stand a serious chance at custody with a cult-crazed judge who valued Shiloh above the law. Whatever the case, Nelle seems to think she can make this happen. Whether she can or not, Nelle’s probably going to try.
