General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has a golden opportunity; they just have to be willing to take advantage of it! GH fans know Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) married Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) behind bars.
After Shiloh’s death and Nelle’s release, Nelle got control of Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) ELQ shares and sold them for a pretty penny to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Nelle once told Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) that Shiloh was the love of her life. She even added that she cried herself to sleep at night thinking of her lost love!
Of course, General Hospital viewers didn’t buy that any more than Martin did. The truth is Nelle saw the benefits of marrying Shiloh, so she approached him with a proposition about helping each other.
Nelle and Shiloh were allies as well as master manipulators. They really were two peas in a pod, so it’s a shame that GH didn’t do more with them. Shiloh and Nelle had real potential as a villainous powercouple, even if they weren’t actually in love.
Is there a chance General Hospital could revive this manipulative duo? Let’s consider how this might play out.
It seems obvious Nelle isn’t dead, but what about Shiloh? Could Shiloh’s death have been faked? It wouldn’t have been all that hard considering there were so many Dawnies lurking around town. The coroner might’ve been one of them along with anyone else needed to sign off on this.
Besides, if Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) death can be faked, so can Shiloh’s. This is a soap, so there’s no reason Shiloh can’t come back to life – perhaps just in time for some Halloween terror. What if Shiloh’s been living off the grid?
It’s easy to imagine Shiloh hiding out at a little cabin not far from where Nelle fell.
It’d be a great story if Shiloh was revealed as the one who came along and rescued his injured wife! Nelle’s marriage to Julian Jerome (William deVry) wouldn’t be legit if Shiloh turned out to be alive after all.
Once Shiloh took Nelle in and nursed her back to health, they could reenter their mutually beneficial arrangement.
Shiloh and Nelle both have unfinished business in Port Charles. They could team up to bring total chaos to the city and seek revenge on their enemies. Do you think Nelle and Shiloh could make a haunting return to PC? Will Halloween terror be unleashed?
