General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some excitement’s ahead in Port Charles. During the week of August 10-14, Sam McCall (temporarily played by Lindsay Hartley) will try to stay optimistic about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) recovery. The same goes for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but some dreadful news will arrive eventually.
Jason may be stuck in a coma for a while, so that’ll bring extra pain for Sonny Corithos (Maurice Benard). Sonny will still be facing the imminent death of Mike Corbin (Max Gail) on top of this Jason drama, so he’ll have a lot on his mind. Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) will be a big help to Sonny as he deals with what’s coming up.
Over with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), he’ll demand an emergency ELQ meeting. Ned’s mission will be to force the threat out of hiding, but he’ll end up exposing his own daughter’s betrayal. At least part of Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) deception will be revealed, so Ned will be upset and furious with his daughter.
While Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) wades into the conflict, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will make a huge announcement – perhaps regarding the upcoming Nurses Ball. Meanwhile, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be thankful to have Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) in his corner. Lulu might decide to attend the portrait unveiling party after all.
As for Ava Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll end up needing comfort before her big night’s over. Will Nikolas steal the spotlight to reveal that he’s divorcing Ava? That’s certainly one option to consider. Ava likes to act like a divorce is what she wants, but she may feel differently if it actually happens.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also attend this Wyndemere bast – and we’re betting Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will be there on Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) arm. If Nelle wears her half-heart pendant necklace as part of her evening ensemble, Nina may be rattled over what she sees.
During the week of August 17-21, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will face off. It looks like Anna will want Finn to make amends with his father, Gregory Chase (James Read), but Finn may have no interest in that. A good marriage is often about compromise, so we’ll see if they can work something out.
Regardless, it’s becoming more and more doubtful that the “Fanna” nuptials will even be completed. As Finn and Anna’s tension revs up, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will hurl an accusation at Ava – one that’s most likely true.
Liz will think Ava’s a victim of her own sabotage, so she may have a feeling Ava’s feelings for Nikolas are deeper than she’s letting on.
Later, Elizabeth will eavesdrop on a conversation that proves enlightening. After a discussion with Franco, it looks like they’ll both realize they’ve been tricked! Nikolas and Ava have been scheming as part of their individual plans to activate the cheating clause in their marriage.
Once Franco and Liz know what Ava and Nikolas have been up to, you can bet they won’t be happy about it.
Back with Brook Lynn, she’ll manage to put herself in danger! GH fans will also see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) revisit a familiar project. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will work to win Nina over, but something tells us she won’t dump Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) so easily.
Next, Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) behavior will draw suspicion from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also deliver a bombshell, so Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may get updates on her pregnancy.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will grow even closer to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), which will be tough for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to watch.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will face major struggles as well, so her unhealthy coping strategies could cause problems. Since Sasha seems poised to battle an addiction or overdose, here’s an opportunity for her drug habit to get worse.
Sam will squeeze in a moment with Jason, so that may be his bedside at GH. Perhaps Sam will plead with Jason and hope he comes back to her. General Hospital spoilers point to more Nelle shockers as well. Nina and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will become a team, so that could involve seeking biological daughter evidence.
Michael also has a stunning discovery coming up, so he might find that tracker in Wiley Quartermaine-Corithos’ (Theo and Erik Olson) stuffed kangaroo. Nelle’s kidnapping plans could also be at risk thanks to Julian, who’ll make a life-altering choice in the week ahead.
