General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Wednesday, May 13 - Sonny Breaks Down Over Avery & Mike Tragedy - Holly’s Death Not An Accident

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 13, reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) woke up alone after dreaming about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), then he got a call from Mac Scorpio (John J. York) wondering why he wasn’t at work. Meanwhile, Willow woke up alone in her room at the Quartermaine mansion and gazed at her rings laying on the side table.

In the Quartermaine living room, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) talked, and Brook Lynn noted how great Willow was. Michael lamented about how much Willow had to sacrifice, as Willow walked down the stairs and overheard the conversation.

Brook Lynn said that Michael was a great guy and a good catch, and she soon noticed Willow at the doorway.

After Brook Lynn left, Michael and Willow chatted, and Willow told Michael that she doesn’t regret her decision to marry him and that she never will. Willow then went upstairs to get ready for the custody hearing.

Over at Turning Woods, Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) visited with Mike Corbin (Max Gail). Mike and Avery were having a great time together, and soon Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) appeared in the doorway.

Ava greeted Sonny at the door and told him that Mike wasn’t talking much, but that he was enjoying his visit with Avery.

Sonny told Ava that Mike had more bad days now than good ones, and Ava sympathized, then apologized for threatening to press charges against Mike back when he kidnapped Avery. Sonny thanked Ava for her apology, and for bringing Avery to see her grandfather. Ava and Sonny then rejoined Mike.

Mike had told Avery what to color, and she had colored a boy on a bike. “That’s my son,” Mike said. Ava asked Mike if he taught his son how to ride a bike, and Mike nodded yes.

Avery and Ava eventually left, and Sonny tried to broach the topic of the DNR with Mike, but Mike wasn’t coherent enough for the conversation.

A doctor came in and wanted to speak with Sonny, and Sonny soon learned that he needed to make a decision about whether to insert a feeding tube since Mike had stopped eating. Since Mike didn’t have a DNR, the decision was Sonny’s. Michael appeared as the doctor explained all this to Sonny, and then Michael and Sonny talked privately.

Michael supported Sonny and suggested that Sonny decide based on what he thought Mike would want. Sonny didn’t know what to do, and he got emotional, saying, “What if he doesn’t want to die?”

Later, Michael and Sonny visited with Mike, who was sleeping, and Sonny cried, saying that Mike had a great moment with Avery earlier. Sonny thought that if Mike could have more of those moments, then he should.

Next, at the Metro Court, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) talked briefly with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), when Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) walked in.

Dustin was there to prep with Brook Lynn for their Nurses’ Ball performance, and through conversation, it was revealed that Dustin was going to “take your dad to school” day with Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan).

This upset Olivia, which Carly noticed. Carly took Dustin off to talk to him and she explained to him about how upset Olivia was over Dante and that Olivia would probably never move on like Lulu has.

Carly noted that Dante didn’t walk out on Lulu; rather, he had PTSD and that it’s very hard for Olivia. Soon, Brook Lynn entered, and Dustin went to join Lulu and Olivia.

Brook Lynn mentioned to Carly that she got arrested again by Chase, and she said a few disparaging things about Chase and his cheating, Brook Lynn said that it was weird that Chase broke Willow’s heart yet still gives her puppy dog eyes. Carly then excused herself and left Brook Lynn alone.

Meanwhile, Lulu explained to Olivia that Rocco asked for Dustin to come to “bring your dad to school” day as his “uncle.” Olivia softened a bit after that, and Dustin approached the women.

Lulu took off, and Dustin told Olivia that he didn’t want to harm her relationship with Lulu or Rocco. Dustin and Olivia seemed to make peace, and Brook Lynn approached and whisked Dustin off to work on her Nurses’ Ball performance.

At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) woke up hungover on the couch. Laura emerged from upstairs and explained that Robert showed up at her door last night drunk.

Robert told Laura about Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death, and that she was on a ship that went down in a storm while doing WSB work. Laura told Robert that he needed to grieve Holly and say goodbye.

Later, Lulu showed up to see Laura and to seek advice about Olivia. Lulu asked if she was supposed to run all her parenting decisions past Olivia, and Laura said no. But Laura did advise Lulu that mothers don’t “move on” from their children, and that Olivia might wait for Dante for the rest of her life.

Over at the PCPD, Mac was reading Holly’s redacted chart and talked with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) via phone. Chase rushed into the station all flustered, which irritated Mac.

Chase insisted that he was fine, and Mac instructed him to make peace with Brook Lynn and to stop arresting her. Robert then walked into the station, and Mac took him into the interrogation room,

Mac showed Robert the redacted WSB report, and Robert didn’t find much in it. Mac pointed out that Robert should look closer, and that he and Anna weren’t convinced that Holly’s ship went down by accident.

Later, Willow walked in the station to see Chase, on her way to the courthouse. Willow told Chase that she and Michael got married last night. Chase wondered why she wanted him to hear it from her, and she said that she thought it might hurt less coming from her.

Willow told Chase goodbye, and Chase wished Willow luck in court today. Willow left as Carly walked into the station and looked at Chase.
