General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will keep their eye on the prize. They want to be together without sneaking around and risking a parole violation that could send Sam back to prison. Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) willing to make a deal, but only if Jason and Sam deliver hard evidence against Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Of course, their current dilemma makes it difficult for Sam and Jason to team up on this. They can play with fire by meeting up again, but they really shouldn’t do that too often. It’d be better to work separately – perhaps with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) serving as a go-between. He can be the glue of their Peter takedown plot.
It’s no coincidence that Spinelli’s back in town with Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and possibly staying for good. This is revving up the pressure for Peter and could perhaps give Sam another angle to pursue.
Spinelli certainly thinks Peter’s guilty and will be even more determined to protect Georgie – as well as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and James West.
Will Spinelli share his growing concerns with Maxie? Peter seems to be on the verge of more slipups, so Spinelli could start to shift Maxie’s view. He could raise Maxie’s suspicions and make her wonder if she really knows Peter as well as she thinks she does.
That brings us back to Sam. General Hospital recently delivered an intriguing scene at Crimson that featured Sam, Maxie, Spinelli and ultimately Peter. They could be moving Sam into Maxie’s orbit and setting up a potential alliance.
If Maxie can be convinced that she at least needs the truth about the situation, she could be a valuable – and dangerous – secret weapon for “JaSam.”
In other words, Maxie might agree to help in hopes of proving that Sam, Jason and Spinelli are wrong. She may think their efforts to score evidence will fail and finally eliminate any nagging doubts about Peter – which she might already have herself deep, deep down.
Maxie may not be willing to admit those doubts, but she’s definitely noticed and chosen to ignore red flags.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Sam will go after someone she believes could be an ally during the week of January 27-31. Soon after, Jason will pass along a stern warning.
Now there’s no guarantee Maxie will be the ally Sam has in mind, but she could be at some point. If that’s the case, Jason would absolutely be worried about Maxie tipping Peter off – hence his stern warning.
Even so, would there really be a better person to catch Peter? Again, Maxie could have the motive of proving Peter’s innocent, not guilty. The result would inevitably be the same since we know Peter’s as sinister as they come!
It’s true that it’d be risky, but launching Peter’s downfall may not be possible without a few gambles.
Many GH fans would probably enjoy watching Sam and Maxie team up. It’d be a great use of the characters while Jason and Sam endure this forced separation.
