General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is in grave danger thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). GH viewers know Jason has a knack for escaping close calls, but we can’t underestimate a guy like Cyrus. Since Cyrus wants to get rid of Jason, you can bet he’ll try at some point.
It’s possible Jason will narrowly dodge disaster or perhaps get rescued by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). After all, rescuing each other is one of the things Sam and Jason do best! Sam certainly stepped up for Jason when Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) could’ve struck a fatal blow.
However, having Sam save the day again might be a bit repetitive here. Perhaps GH writers will go for a different outcome instead – one that leaves Sam truly fearful about losing Jason for good this time.
It’s easy to imagine Jason getting shot or injured some other way by Cyrus. This General Hospital villain is bad news and will stop at nothing to make his enemies suffer.
Jason’s been worried about keeping his family away from the violence, but what about Jason himself? He’s right in the middle of the peril, so things may not turn out great for him.
It’d bring some great material for Kelly Monaco if Jason winds up fighting for his life in a hospital bed. Sam would certainly cry her eyes out while she begged Jason to come back to her!
Jason and Sam lost so much time while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) held Jason at that Russian facility. Sam hoped they’d have the rest of their lives to make up for it, but she could suddenly worry that they won’t.
General Hospital fans know Sam already dealt with intense grief when she thought Jason was dead. The thought of going through that all over again would be truly devastating.
Plus, Sam would fret about her children, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri). Scout already lost her bio dad, Drew Cain (Billy Miller), so Sam would inevitably fear Scout might lose her latest father figure, too.
That’s the kind of thing that could take a serious toll on a kid. Danny would also be crushed if Jason couldn’t survive Cyrus’ deadly attack.
Of course, Jason isn’t going to die, but that doesn’t mean GH won’t go for some deathbed drama before Jason fights his way back to Sam! It’s the perfect opportunity since Cyrus is ready to go after Jason. As other GH details pop up, we’ll give you more updates.
