General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (currently played by Lindsay Hartley) will see Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) in a new light. So far, Sam’s been pretty fed up with Brando.
They got off on the wrong foot when Brando insulted Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). Sam wasn’t pleased about Brando sleeping with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) either.
Since Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) motorcycle crash happened just after Brando installed a new part, he faced Sam’s angry accusations. GH has set up some fierce conflict here, but the tension’s about to lift.
During the week of August 17-21, Brando will show Sam another side of himself – a softer side that Sam can relate to and appreciate.
Of course, we have to acknowledge that this is following the typical pattern of a soap romance. It’s quite common for two people to clash until they slowly start getting to know each other. The initial tension can sometimes lead to the steamy kind instead!
Back when Sam faced off with Brando at the garage, many General Hospital viewers saw some chem testing going on. Brando even changed his shirt – seemingly for no other reason than to be shirtless in the scene. GH clearly wanted to see up the possibility of something happening between Brando and Sam.
Unfortunately, General Hospital is now offering more reasons for “JaSam” fans to be concerned. For starters, there’s that softer side of Brando that Sam will appreciate. That sounds like it could spell trouble.
There’s also the fact that Jason’s upset about Sam’s deal with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). That may not seem like anything major on the surface, but it follows a pattern. Throughout Sam’s parole drama, she’s always been the one wanting to take charge and fight against it. Jason’s been more passive and careful about things.
Now GH is adding to the conflict by having Jason disapprove of Sam’s strategy. Plus, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) still poses a threat, so Jason may continue to keep Sam and the kids at a distance. Sam’s new easygoing parole officer doesn’t change the danger they’re all in.
Cyrus has proven that he’s willing to go after the family members of his main targets. Since Jason survived his crash, there’s so predicting when, where and how Cyrus will strike next. Jason may not be able to protect Sam and the kids if they’re too close to the situation.
Sam thinks they can finally be together, but that’s not really true as long as deadly Cyrus is still on the loose. Could all of this set the stage for exploding passion between Brando and Sam?
Will Jason face a crushing betrayal? As “JaSam” problems grow, it’s possible Sam will be tempted by Brando. Sam’s at least going to warm up to Brando from the sound of things, so don’t miss the shockers ahead.
