General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, January 16, teases that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) will stand her ground. She’ll make it clear that Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) stock is hers, and she intends to stake her claim. Nelle will cause quite an uproar at the Quartemaine mansion, where Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will promise they’re going to make Nelle’s life “a living hell.”
Of course, Nelle could do the same for the Quartermaines – and she undoubtedly will! GH spoilers say Nelle will make plenty of Port Charles residents miserable now that she’s a free woman. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will fume over Nelle’s latest move and so will Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
It won’t be long until Tracy’s playing the blame game – and she’ll point the finger straight at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Tracy will think this is all Michael’s fault since he hooked up with Nelle and repeatedly gave her the benefit of the doubt. She’ll probably argue that problems like this are proof of why Michael shouldn’t be running ELQ.
Over with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll be stunned when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) offers updates. Sam will reveal that Nelle is Shiloh’s widow, so Alexis will struggle to wrap her head around the details. This is yet another way for Shiloh to stir up trouble from beyond the grave!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will be in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) corner. It sounds like she’ll support Sonny’s last-ditch effort to hold onto Mike Corbin (Max Gail). There’s no guarantee this study will work and taking Mike out of his typical environment could end in disaster. Even so, Sonny feels he has to give Mike one more shot at help.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will change her mind about something on Thursday, so she may decide this could be good for Sonny. If this study fails, perhaps Sonny can start accepting the looming loss. In the meantime, Sonny will turn to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for a favor. Jason will gladly offer assistance, so it’ll be interesting to see if it involves Sonny’s Mike mission or handling Nelle.
Next, Julian Jerome (William deVry) will deliver a warning to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). He’ll let Brad know that Sonny’s suspicious and knows they’re keeping secrets. Julian will insist that Brad needs to be careful. If Brad starts making major mistakes, he could alert Sonny to why he’s so frenetic all the time. The last thing Brad and Julian need is Grandpa Sonny finding out about the baby switch.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) fury will erupt. She’ll shut down Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) attempts to apologize for the pain he’s caused and really let him have it. Nik will have to take what Lulu dishes out and hope she cools off eventually!
