General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, July 23 – Nelle's Infuriating News – Sasha’s Message for Carly – Michael & Willow Bold Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 23, tease that some fierce faceoffs and bold moves are coming up. GH will re-air the episode that was originally shown on May 12, 2020. It’s got a rushed wedding, a blackmail plot and some heated confrontations, so General Hospital fans may want to check this one out again.

At the Floating Rib, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) pushes Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to keep icing down her nose for the upcoming photoshoot. Lucy also implies that Sasha’s reached town tramp status and can relate. Sasha seems rattled over people thinking of her like that, so Lucy backtracks a bit.

Nearby, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) grows impatient over Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) late arrival. Nelle’s been delayed, so Martin ponders the whereabouts of his nutcase client.

Meanwhile, Nelle continues to listen in on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda SEtton) chat with Julian Jerome (William deVry). They once again discuss how Julian tampered with the brakes on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) car.

Julian gets a call from Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw), who’s having a meltdown at the Quartermaine mansion and blames Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

After Julian and Brook Lynn exit, Nelle calls Martin and lets him know her tardiness will be worth it. At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finds out Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has decided to marry Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Sonny pushes for a private conversation and frets about Michael signing up for a loveless marriage.

Michael assures Sonny that he respects Willow and wants to do what’s best for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). It’s not like Michael’s had a ton of luck in the true love department anyway, so he’s fine with this marriage.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is glad Willow’s becoming part of the family, but she wonders if the bride can let go of Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and that phase of her life.

Nevertheless, Michael and Willow’s wedding plans move forward. Sonny arranges for the duo to marry in Port Charles instead of having to make a Las Vegas trip.

Lucy gets updates on the nuptials and is asked to officiate, so she brings Sasha up to speed. Nelle’s also at The Floating Rib to hear the news – and she’s not pleased! It isn’t long until Nelle stomps back to her table and pushes Martin to make a countermove. Martin can’t get Nelle a husband, but something clicks for Nelle before she rushes back to Charlie’s Pub.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Julian gets the scoop on Leo’s issues from Ned. It turns out Leo was denied a pet snake, so he played Julian by accusing Ned of being mean. Julian crosses paths with Sonny and hears about the wedding, so he supports the soon-to-be newlyweds. Julian cares about Wiley and argues that he shouldn’t wind up with Nelle.

Michael sits down with Willow to offer a gift before their wedding: his great-grandmother’s ring. Willow’s hesitant to accept something so meaningful and valuable, but Michael insists. He puts it on Willow’s finger and smiles over the perfect fit.

On the pier, Sasha catches up with Chase. They discuss Willow and Michael’s wedding along with Nelle’s knowledge of it, which leads to some concerns. Since Nelle’s a wildcard who might try to blow up the ceremony, Sasha warns Carly over the phone.

Carly’s grateful for the heads-up on what Nelle knows, but she vows that nothing will get in the way.

Brook Lynn finds something in her closet for Willow to wear, so she comes downstairs looking like a true bride. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also scores some flowers from an arrangement, so Willow’s got her bouquet. The wedding’s complete when Wiley wakes up and watches his dad marry his new stepmom.

Once Michael and Willow make their commitment, they’re pronounced husband and wife. Michael follows the tradition of kissing the bride, so Willow kisses back awkwardly. Back with Nelle, she irritates Julian by banging on the outside of the pub door. Nelle’s certain that Julian will want to hear her out.

At GH, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) pulls Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) away from his showdown with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). While Jordan and Cyrus clash, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) rips into Curtis.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) tries to settle Trina down before Jordan rejoins them. It doesn’t work since Trina thinks Curtis and Jordan are just as bad as Cyrus.

Later, Curtis realizes Cyrus is still at the hospital, so he snaps that visiting hours are over. Cyrus was just leaving, but he takes a moment to ask about TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) first. Curtis stands his ground against Cyrus, who suggests he’s not someone who should be underestimated.
