General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, June 4 – Helena Pushes Jake to Unleash Deadly Terror – Sonny & Carly Stop Ava’s Getaway

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 4, tease that the 2017 Nurses Ball will continue with another exciting encore. This GH episode originally aired on May 25, 2017, and it’ll be the final 2017 offering of the week. There’s plenty of drama in this General Hospital classic, so here’s what’ll play out.

First, let’s talk about Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Although Ava Jerome (Maura West) changed her mind about making her donation in Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) name, Lucy insists the check ceremony is going to happen. Lucy doesn’t care how Ava feels about it since Jake Webber (Hudson West) bailed on his magic show plan, which leaves Lucy with some time to fill.

Backstage, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) grills Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about why he’d sell a deadly weapon to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Valentin argues that he was on the run and needed the money, which also helped fun his surgeries and allowed him to start his life over.

Since Helena is dead, Valentin doesn’t view this as a big issue. Anna disagrees and contends that the Chimera will remain a threat until it’s located. Valentin suggests Anna can search Cassadine Island for it if she wants. Once Valentin saunters off, Anna calls Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and notes that she may have found the Chimera.

After Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) performance, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) mentions his plans for the rest of the evening to Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine). Curtis reserved a room, which leaves Jordan uneasy. Jordan thinks it’s too soon to spend the night together, so Curtis says he can cancel the reservation.

Once Jordan admits that’s not the point, she reflects on how she sees Thomas Ashford when she looks at Curtis. Jordan doesn’t want to feel like she’s committing another betrayal – and she might feel that way if she gets serious with Curtis. Although Curtis believes Jordan’s a good person who’s worked hard to overcome her past mistakes, he understands if Jordan isn’t on board with this romance.

Curtis offers Jordan a keycard to the room he reserved and suggests there’s no pressure. However, Curtis will know Jordan’s not ready to be in a relationship with him if she doesn’t arrive by 10:00 p.m.

Backstage again, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) ponder what the blue light on the Chimera canister means. Charlotte’s ready to open it when Jake appears and flips out. After Jake grabs the canister, Charlotte starts crying and runs to Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) after she appears.

Emma blames Jake for pushing Charlotte, but Jake snaps that Charlotte shouldn’t have touched his stuff. Charlotte’s still clinging to Nina when Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) walks over. Lulu calls Charlotte over, but Nina doesn’t think that’s a good idea.

Lulu contends that’s not Nina’s call to make before Valentin arrives. The kids all make their accusations, but Valentin sends Charlotte and Emma off to get some cake. Nina tells Valentin that Lulu’s been “territorial” before shifting gears and praising his song, which meant the world to her.

Valentin’s hopeful that Nina can trust him again, so she agrees to see how the night pans out. They can take it from there if all goes well. Valentin’s pleased as he takes Nina by the hand and returns to the ballroom with her.

After Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) performs with Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins), Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) gets updates from Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Griffin notes that the necklace belongs to Anna, and Jason doesn’t think this whole Chimera thing is a coincidence.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is taken aback when she overhears Anna talking to Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) about the Chimera project. Jason and Griffin rush over to ask Anna what’s so significant about the chimera. Jake drew one and Jason saw one during his Cassadine Island trip, so Jason’s hoping to get some answers.

Since only Andre has the proper clearance to divulge anything, he gives Anna the green light to tell Jake’s parents. Anna explains that the Chimera project was a biotoxin originally developed by the WSB and later sold to Helena. Although it’s never been used, Anna wants to find it and secure it ASAP.

Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he talks to Sonny about the Morgan med tampering. Once Carly’s brought up to speed on the placebo and Ava’s presence at the robbery, she points the finger at Ava. Sonny stops Carly from confronting Ava until they have confirmation.

Carly and Sonny corner Lucy soon after, who breaks down and shares what she learned. According to Ava, Morgan rekindled things with her shortly before his death, which is how Ava wound up with his pill bottle. Lucy admits that she eventually caught Ava trying to dispose of the pills in the dumpster.

Once Lucy delivers an emotional apology, Sonny reassures her. Lucy walks off, which leaves Sonny to discuss the matter with Carly. Neither one of them buys Ava’s story about starting up her romance with Morgan again. Sonny and Carly assume Ava was just lying to cover her tracks.

After Carly wonders why Ava would mess with Morgan’s meds, she spots Kiki walking by with Dillon. It hits Carly that Ava wanted Morgan to spiral so he’d be out of Kiki’s life. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) listens in on this conversation nearby and dashes off to give Ava a warning. He thinks Ava should skip town before Carly and Sonny find her.

Moments later, Sonny and Carly find Scott instead. After Sonny pushes Scott against a wall, he orders Scott to reveal Ava’s location. Sonny accuses Ava of killing Morgan, but Scott puts the blame on the bomb Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) planted. When Carly brings up Ava tampering with Morgan’s pills, Scott insists that’s crazy talk.

Sonny and Carly keep at it until Scott blurts out that Ava fled town. Scott notes that Ava plans to disappear forever. Once Scott and “CarSon” part ways, Scott complains to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Sonny assaulting him.

Meanwhile, Ava tracks down Kiki to reveal how proud she is of her. Ava wants Kiki’s happiness, but the way she’s phrasing everything confuses Kiki. It sounds like Kiki’s never going to see Ava again.

Ava gives Kiki a hug before reminding her daughter of her love. At a warehouse, Ava’s got bag ready with her passports along with cash and a gun. Sonny and Carly arrive before she can make her getaway.

In a hotel room, Curtis decides Jordan’s not coming and opts to leave. He’s on his way out when Jordan arrives, so Curtis picks her up and carries her to bed as they kiss.

Backstage at the Nurses Ball, Jake has a vision of Helena, who urges “little man” to do his magic trick and make Port Charles disappear. Jake finds Liz soon after and declares that he ready to do his act.
