General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) seems to have quite a team around him. As GH viewers know, Cyrus recently hired Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) as his personal driver and bodyguard, but one staff member that Cyrus doesn’t seem to have yet is a personal attorney.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) as his right-hand legal associate, but so far viewers haven’t seen Cyrus with anyone in a similar vein.
But that doesn’t mean that Cyrus doesn’t already have a legal eagle on his payroll. In fact, we suspect that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) could already be in Cyrus’ pocket.
It would be something that Martin might want to keep quiet, but that could soon become impossible if Cyrus gets into legal trouble with some of his nefarious business dealings and crimes.
GH viewers will remember that when TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was kidnapped and held captive by Cyrus’ people, TJ overheard one of the men who was holding him captive – or at least TJ thought it was one of the men who was holding captive.
CDL General Hospital spoilers pointed out that the person TJ heard was actually Martin, who was working in his capacity as Cyrus’ attorney. TJ told Mac Scorpio (John J. York) that the man he heard had a southern accent and a distinctive ringtone.
Well, if the man who TJ heard was Martin, it probably will only be a matter of time before TJ and the supposedly respectable attorney end up sharing the same airspace at some point in the future.
TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) are planning some protests against Cyrus’ takeover of the hospital – protests that have been temporarily delayed since Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) has denied TJ’s request for a permit.
But we suspect that TJ may find a way to get his permit pushed through, and if he continues to push back against Cyrus, then Cyrus might take legal action against him, which would necessitate legal counsel being involved.
If TJ ever interacts with Martin, he could be in for a big surprise as he recognizes Martin’s voice. And since TJ is pretty sharp, he’ll probably connect the dots and realize that all roads through Martin lead to Cyrus.
Well, if TJ suspects that Cyrus might have been behind his kidnapping, he’s going to squawk loudly, and that could put him in terrible danger. TJ is simply not one to let things go, so he’ll probably be pretty vocal about what he suspects Cyrus did to him – and that could get him kidnapped again or worse!
Might TJ be next on Cyrus’ hit list?
Cyrus already sees TJ as a nuisance, so it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for Cyrus to want to take out TJ if he could implicate Martin (and therefore Cyrus) in his kidnapping. Jordan’s son could be in real trouble soon, especially is Cyrus wants him gone! Might TJ be the next GH death?
