General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, August 21 – Julian's Desperate Choice, Where's Wiley? - Michael’s Bombshell

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, August 21, teases that the 2020 Nurses Ball still has some curveballs ahead. While Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) introduces more acts, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) will push each other’s buttons.

Nikolas is paying far too much attention to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) for Franco’s taste, so Franco will be sure to let him know.

Franco will think Nikolas’ wife, Ava Cassadine (Maura West), is being neglected due to Nik’s obsession with Liz, but there are some hidden agendas here.

In the restroom, Ava and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have been talking about the infidelity clause, which will leave Ava with 90 percent of the Cassadine fortune if it’s triggered. If Nikolas hops in bed with Liz, that’s exactly what’ll happen.

Nina will suggest the plan’s flawed, so she might note that Nikolas could nudge Ava in Franco’s direction, too. The further Liz drifts from Franco, the more likely Franco would be to betray her. Of course, that would require Ava’s cooperation – and she seems more invested in securing this fortune than a hot hookup.

Nevertheless, Liz will keep listening in from that nearby bathroom stall. Once Ava and Nina clear out, it’ll give Liz a chance to track down Franco and offer updates.

Major manipulation has been going on, but four can play that game! Franco and Elizabeth may find a way to turn the tables on Ava and Nikolas, so don’t miss what they cook up.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will talk about an offer she can’t turn down. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will has been enjoying his night with Willow, but things are winding down now.

Willow may be feeling a bit anxious due to leaving Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) for so long, so Michael might suggest he can take it from here.

While Michael closes out the telethon, Willow might opt to head back to the Quartermaine mansion – where a kidnapping plot’s in progress. Julian Jerome (William deVry) has lost his mind apparently and is letting scheming Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) control him.

You’d think anything would be better than snatching Wiley for Nelle, but Julian’s following his wife’s instructions anyway.

Julian just chloroformed poor Monica and seems poised to scoop Wiley up out of his bed. Will Julian actually go through with this? Could something change his mind?

Nelle just attacked Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) with fabric shears, so that might do the trick. How can Julian had over this sweet toddler to a woman who just left Brook Lynn bloody backstage?

Nelle’s out of control, so Julian needs to stop worrying about covering his own butt and start thinking about the consequences for Wiley. Perhaps that’s exactly what Julian will do if he hears about Brook Lynn’s ordeal. Even if he doesn’t, Julian’s going to make a decision that’ll alter his life.

That decision might be kidnapping Nelle instead – or it could be that Julian will decide to let Nelle do her worst. Wiley’s life matters more than Julian’s, so maybe he’ll realize that soon enough.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could kill Julian if Nelle spills her dirt, but it’d be better than putting innocent Wiley in Nelle’s clutches.

Over with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll blast Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) once more. It sounds like another shouting match regarding Brook Lynn’s actions is coming up.

Of course, Ned’s sure to be sorry once he realizes his daughter’s been injured in a dressing room. Just how will Ned and Olivia find out about Brook Lynn’s scary predicament?

Brook Lynn’s set to perform the new song for Deception, but she can’t take the stage when she’s unconscious and bleeding. Lucy will probably be confused when she gives BLQ an impressive introduction and no one appears.

GH spoilers say Michael will discover something quite startling on Friday, so it could be unresponsive Brook Lynn.

Ned and Olivia should fear for Brook Lynn’s life when they learn she’s been slashed across the throat – which is what Nelle seems to have done. Nelle will be pleased with herself for taking care of this sudden threat.

As far as Nelle’s concerned, Brook Lynn should’ve tried being nicer and maybe she wouldn’t have found herself in this dreadful situation.

As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll plan to do some meddling as usual. Sonny will want confirmation that Carly’s going to stay out of something, but there’s probably no chance of that happening. No matter what Sonny’s referring to, Carly will likely poke her nose where it doesn’t belong.

General Hospital spoilers also point to some good news for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Brando will finally get Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) off his back somewhat. There’ll be some incident that shows a warmer side of Brando, so Sam will decide maybe he’s not so bad after all.

GH fans will want to tune in for Friday’s explosive drama and what’s sure to be a great cliffhanger. CDL will have tons of other scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stop by again soon.
