General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, September 14 – Nina Reveals Phyllis Caulfield - Sonny's Ava Deal – Holly Hunt On

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, September 14, tease that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will make a heartfelt pitch to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). At Turning Woods, Ava will acknowledge that Sonny’s got a lot going on as Mike Corbin (Max Gail) nears the end.

When Ava suggests she’d be happy to take Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for the next few days, Sonny will fear Ava’s trying to take advantage of the situation.

However, Ava will make it clear that this isn’t about revisiting the custody agreement. It’s about doing what’s best for their daughter, which is what they agreed they’d always do – no matter what they think of each other.

Ava will get that Sonny’s used to thinking the worst of her, but she’ll promise she genuinely wants to help and will push Sonny to trust her on this.

Sonny still won’t be sure whether Ava’s hustling him or not, but he’ll admit her offer’s an appealing one. Taking Avery would be helpful right now, so he’ll agree to let Ava take Avery on one condition.

We know Ava will spend some time at the cabin in the week ahead, so maybe Sonny’s condition will involve keeping Avery away from Wyndemere. Ava’s marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has been pretty toxic, so Sonny might insist this should be strictly mother-daughter time elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will pay Mike a visit to say his goodbyes. Since Mike could use some comforting words, Jason will provide some. It looks like Jason will vow to protect Sonny and his family, which won’t be a hard promise to keep since he does that anyway.

Even so, just knowing Sonny has Jason to rely on will mean a lot to Mike.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will be put on full blast when Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) runs into her. GH viewers know Lucy used her tiebreaker vote to side with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at the ELQ meeting, so Valentin’s the company’s CEO now.

Ned will put plenty of blame on Lucy in Monday’s episode, but maybe he should’ve been more diligent about protecting the family legacy! Nevertheless, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will suggest she might be able to help Ned.

Sasha will think maybe she could put in a good word, so she might think she can change Lucy’s mind about future votes.

Then again, Sasha has established a bit of a bond with Valentin lately. Perhaps Sasha will think she can make progress with Valentin somehow, but this whole plan seems pointless.

Valentin has every intention of leading ELQ into a brighter future – and Lucy will have to go along with him as long as he’s backing Deception.

It’s doubtful anyone’s going to back down here, but Ned may think Sasha’s sweet for trying. Speaking of being sweet, that’s exactly what Nikolas will be when he brings Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) a bouquet and keeps her company for a while.

Brook Lynn will still be recovering at GH, where Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be tending to her.

There should be some awkwardness when Liz spots Nikolas, but she can excuse herself and go find Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Elizabeth and Franco definitely have a lot to talk about – like Liz being dropped to part-time at GH.

Thanks to more changes from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Liz will only be able to pick up two shifts per week. That’ll undoubtedly add to the financial strain for the “Friz” family.

Elizabeth will apologize to Franco on Monday, so she may be sorry for the lack of work she’ll be getting. Liz isn’t to blame, but it’s easy to imagine her apologizing for it just the same.

What about the kiss Elizabeth shared with Nikolas – and he smooch Franco had with Ava? Will those lip locks stay under wraps?

The vibe of these betrayals and the aftermath was strange, so this might be some elaborate “Friz” plan. It would serve Ava and Nikolas right if they got duped! Regardless, photos now exist of the stolen kisses, so it may not take long for those to come into play.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) hasn’t exactly been given a warm welcome back at GH so far – and Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) certainly won’t give her one on Monday. Neither will Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), but Britt will be enjoying her power trip too much to care.

Franco will ask what brings Britt back to town – presumably before he gets the latest news from Liz. There may be some tension between Franco and Britt when he realizes Elizabeth’s hours have been drastically cut. However, that decision came from the top. Britt’s just going along with Cyrus’ unfair plans at the moment.

Julian Jerome (William deVry) will have his own run-in with Britt, which won’t go well. Britt will put Julian on notice and make him realize Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) wasn’t the only person left to worry about.

Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will let Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) know that something incredible came out of their journey. Nina still doesn’t know who her long-lost child is, but she got a receipt with the name “Phyllis Caulfield” on it.

That seemed significant to Nina, who’ll tell Jax some stories about her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) on Monday.

Madeline must’ve known Phyllis somehow, so perhaps Nina will enlighten Jax on that along with GH viewers. Finally, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will lay down the law with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will insist on going with Robert whether he likes it or not, so their Monte Carlo adventure should bring some surprises.

As other GH info comes in, we’ll pass along more updates. The mission to save Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) will bring some unexpected discoveries, so keep watching! CDL’s your hotspot for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so we’ll always have great posts to check out.
