General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 20, teases that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will hope Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) can come through for her.
Sam will tell Sonny that she needs his help, so this may tie in with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis is a drunken mess and certainly isn’t listening to Sam, but maybe Sonny can pitch in somehow and make a difference.
Over with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), they’ll hope the cops’ interest in Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will fade. Carly will count on Nelle being forgotten soon, but that seems like wishful thinking!
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) doesn’t know Nelle is her biological daughter yet, but she will eventually. Once that happens, Carly’s going to face drama all over again.
In the meantime, Nina will try a new tactic in her hunt for Phyllis Caulfield. Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) attempt to help Nina fell flat, but she’ll feel more comfortable taking assistance from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Curtis will wonder who this woman is and why Nina wants to find out. Once Nina updates Curtis on the steps she’s taken so far, he’ll hopefully be willing to see what he can find out.
At Charlie’s Pub, Valentin will share a toast with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) and do his best to get drunk quickly. Brook Lynn is considering doing the same, so these two are an intriguing duo to keep an eye on.
Could GH be pushing Brook Lynn and Valentin toward a passionate encounter? Time will tell, but General Hospital’s definitely making an effort to include more hookups and surprises lately.
As for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), he’ll hope Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) has thought about his proposal and made the right choice. It won’t be long until Cyrus approaches Brando and asks for an answer.
Sonny has instructed Brando to take the job, but doing so will move Brando into risky territory. If Cyrus finds out Brando is actually working for Sonny, there’s going to be trouble!
Speaking of trouble, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could also be in some if Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) finds out he’s going rogue. Chase will ignore Jordan’s instructions and keep investigating a crucial case.
Jordan ordered Chase to drop the case involving Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) obviously tampered-with motorcycle. However, Chase knows there has to be more to the story here.
At the boxing gym, Chase will interrogate Brando about why the investigation might’ve wrapped up. Although Chase won’t be able to act on this officially anymore, he’ll definitely keep up his search for answers.
Of course, Chase isn’t going to get those answers from Brando. You can bet Brando will just suggest he’s thankful to be in the clear. If Chase wants to know more, he’ll have to dig deeper.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will talk to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about how much she means to him. No matter what decision Willow made before she came in the room, Michael’s touching words should warm her heart.
It’s tough to believe Willow could walk away from Michael after he admits she’s everything he ever could’ve wanted!
Across town, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will feel stuck between her past and her present. Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) will promise that he’s willing to step aside for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
If Lulu wants to reunite with Dante, Dustin will get why. He’ll know that maybe new love can’t compete with old feelings and the potential to put “Lante’s” family together again.
After Dustin reveals he’s prepared to let Lulu go, she’ll nix that plan for now. Lulu does feel something for Dustin – and things are obviously complicated with Dante.
It’s not like Lulu can just pick up where she left off with her ex-husband. So much has happened – including a lot of heartache. Lulu will carry that pain with her for a while, so it should make it simpler to stand by Dustin for the time being.
