General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 27, teases that another Nurses Ball classic is in store. The ABC soap first aired this GH episode on May 12, 2014, so we’ve got the scoop on what to expect. Here’s what General Hospital spoilers reveal for this exciting encore.
First, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) enthusiastically yells for the Magic Milo men to lose their “drawers.” Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) rushes on stage to wrap this act up before things get out of hand. As for Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), she shuts down Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) latest attempt to talk to her.
Over with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), he grumbles about the striptease Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) joined in on. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) advises Brad to take action, so Brad dashes off to cook something up.
When Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) sees Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’s thrilled that her friend could make it to the Nurses Ball. Levi Dunkleman (Zachary Garred) tells Lulu that he’s a lot of great things about her.
Lulu notes that one of the gals in her number won’t be able to perform. She wants Maxie to take that woman’s place, but Maxie’s unsure since Levi hates fundraiser events like this.
Lulu suggests she could pick out Maxie’s costume, but Maxie doesn’t want to leave that in Lulu’s hands. She’s excited as they scamper backstage. Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) and Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) surprise some other guests with their arrival. Cameron Webber (Michael Leone) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) certainly didn’t expect to see Spencer.
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) weren’t expecting to see Nikolas either, but Nik contends that they changed their minds about coming out to the ball.
Cam scoffs at what Spencer’s wearing, but Spencer gloats about his tux being from Europe. As Cameron and Emma leave to prepare for their act, Spencer lets them know he’s looking forward to it.
Backstage, Maxie’s entranced by Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), who still isn’t wearing a shirt following his part in the Magic Milo performance. Once Maxie brings Nathan up to speed on her own number, Nathan’s excited about it. Maxie can’t resist giving shirtless Nathan another look before she goes.
Lucy gives Blackie Parrish (John Stamos) an introduction before receiving bad news. Blackie forgot about a scheduling issue, so he can’t entertain the crowd this evening.
Thankfully, Brad volunteers to take the stage instead. His performance of Karmin’s “Brokenhearted” leaves Lucas looking annoyed. After Brad finishes singing, Lucas confirms that it changed nothing.
Even so, Felix can tell that Lucas isn’t happy. He calls Lucas out on it and urges Lucas to confide in him. Soon after, Brad appears and grabs Lucas for a big kiss. Back with Sonny, Olivia continues to dodge his efforts to work things out.
In the backstage area, Epiphany hints that she was hoping for the “Full Monty” during Milo Giambetti’s (Drew Cheetwood) Magic Milo number. When Milo suggests that he had to leave some of it up to the imagination, Epiphany contends that she’ll indeed be imagining.
Lucy feels like Brad will be a tough act to follow, but Mac Scorpio (John J. York) wants to give it a shot. Although Lucy bickers with Mac, she ultimately relents and lets Mac do an act with his dummy, Mr. Marbles. Epiphany gets fed up with the terrible act, so she destroys the dummy right in front of Mac.
Poor Mac looks crushed over the way Epiphany “murdered” his childhood best friend. Mac’s even more insulted since the audience loved Epiphany’s move. Milo compliments Epiphany on that move a little later.
Meanwhile, Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) in celebratory mode as he pours some bubbly. He talks to Julian Jerome (William deVry) about marrying “the bitch” to have ELQ within his grasp.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), Kiki Jerone (Kristen Alderson), Maxie and Lulu all make up The Haunted Starlets, who perform “I Don’t Care” by Icona Pop. Over with Spencer again, he finds Britt and convinces her to sit at the table with Nikolas.
There’s talk about Elizabeth, but Nik argues that friendship is all that’s going on. As much as Nikolas would like to move on, it’s not that simple. Britt gets what Nikolas means since she can’t move on either.
Emma does a dance number with Cam until Spencer stops it. A band called Player performs after Spencer dedicates the song to Emma. Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge Forrester) is part of this performance, so Spencer thanks him afterward.
Since Ronn would do anything for Spencer’s great-grandmother, he was happy to help Spencer win back Emma. Ronn hopes it all works out!
When Spencer finds Emma again, he whines that he can’t live without her. Nikolas struggles to wrap his head around Spencer’s grand gesture, but Britt understands what a powerful motivator forgiveness can be. She’s hoping Nikolas can find it in his heart to forgive her.
Back with Liz, she’s surprised when Ric notes that they had something good and messed it up. Ric wants to give it another go, so he asks Liz not to throw it away.
While Ric pushes for another chance, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) visits Lucy in her dressing room and dismisses Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as the wrong choice. Lucy’s taken aback as Scott suggests he’s the right one.
Later, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) confronts Luke with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott). After Ned insists Luke’s been fired, Luke argues that only Tracy has the authority to dismiss him. Ned corrects Luke on that since Tracy’s also been ousted as CEO.
Tracy demands to see a list of the people who voted her out. That list includes Ned, who had to do it for the sake of putting a new CEO in place. It was the only way to make sure Luke was fired. Tracy gets updates on Michael taking the throne and views him as a traitor.
Luke is also outraged, but Michael pipes up about Luke groping Kiki. Tracy doesn’t believe it, but Michael certainly goes. Kiki and Michael head for the exit since sleazy Luke is creeping Kiki out.
Tracy accepts her family’s betrayal, which concerns Luke. His new bride feels like everything will be all right as long as they’ve got each other, but Luke’s grim face tells a different story!
