General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has a bit of a dilemma on his hands. He’s closing in on an ELQ takeover, but he’d rather keep his name out of it for now. Valentin could also use a little help in scoring the remaining shares he needs.
Could Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) be the solution? Brook Lynn sold her shares as part of her deal with Linc Brown (Dan Buran), which was arranged by Valentin. Since Brook Lynn’s a sell-out already, Valentin might hope she’s willing to take things a step further and help him secure control of ELQ.
Of course, Brook Lynn might wonder why she’d do a thing like that. The answer is simple: power. Valentin might see an opportunity since Brook Lynn’s family treats her like a nobody who doesn’t know what she’s doing. Perhaps Valentin could offer a powerful position at ELQ so Brook Lynn can prove them all wrong.
Brook Lynn had big dreams of working her way up at the company before she was fired following her first day fiasco. Valentin could argue that Brook Lynn wasn’t given a fair chance to succeed.
He might suggest that if Brook Lynn helps him gain control, there’ll be a powerful spot waiting for her. Whether that’s the CEO, COO or something else, Brook Lynn might find the idea appealing.
Naturally, Brook Lynn would need everything in writing before she agreed to anything. You can’t trust a guy like Valentin! Even so, Brook Lynn might decide that since the Quartermaines can’t respect her, why should she respect them?
Brook Lynn could determine that it’s time to do something for herself, even if that means teaming up with someone as ruthless and conniving as Valentin.
This could even lead to the possibility of some flying sparks if that’s how General Hospital writers want to take things. Brook Lynn seems like the kind of gal who’d be drawn to a bad boy like Valentin, despite trying to fight it.
If Valentin and Brook Lynn join forces in business, maybe it could lead to some GH passion on the side!
