General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, October 21, tease that Julian Jerome (William deVry) will grow impatient. It looks like Julian will rant about Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) dragging her feet on the divorce.
However, Ava will admit that perhaps she was mistaken about Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) actually caring for her. Ava will suggest recent events have proven otherwise, so her mind will be on that check signature scrap she found – which indicated Nikolas was blackmailed, too.
At GH, Nikolas will sit down with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and offer an apology. General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will be sorry for trying to manipulate Liz and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Nikolas will admit things didn’t go as planned since he now has actual feelings for Ava.
Since we know Nikolas will confess to Ava later this week, Elizabeth may advise him to follow his heart – but proceed at his own risk!
Ava is certainly a wildcard and Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) doesn’t approve, so Liz may just want to make sure Nikolas weighs his options carefully before doing what he feels is right.
In the meantime, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will think Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) needs to come clean before Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) does it for him.
Monica will ask what’s to keep Brook Lynn from telling Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), but Olivia herself will walk in and wonder what they’re talking about.
Ned will most likely cover Monica’s blunder and hope he can keep this secret forever, but that’s pretty much an impossible task in Port Charles! Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll meet with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and get an exciting offer.
GH fans know Sam needs a CEO to run her half of Aurora Media, so it seems Michael will be the perfect fit.
Later, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will ask Michael if there’s a problem with the annulment. Part of her may be hoping there is! Willow seemed surprised and disappointed when Michael suddenly shifted gears in their recent conversation.
Although Michael enjoys his life with Willow, he suggested maybe they deserve more than just companionship.
Of course, this seems like Michael’s misguided attempt to set Willow free when she doesn’t really want her freedom! Michael and Willow promised to always be honest with each other, but it doesn’t look like they’re doing much of that right now.
As for the potential annulment issue, Michael will probably insist he has good news about the Aurora job offer instead.
Next, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will insist he can’t participate – presumably in the burial Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is working on for Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).
When Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) got updates on Nina’s plans, she blew a gasket. As a result, Nina may feel like Jax is siding with Carly and just doing what’s best for his ex.
Nevertheless, Jax may argue that he can’t participate because of his own feelings toward Nelle as well. He can’t pretend he cared about Nelle, even if this burial is serving as some sort of closure for Nina.
If Nina wants to move ahead with this, that’s her prerogative. It doesn’t mean Jax has to be part of it.
Meanwhile, we’ll see the aftermath of a steamy night. General Hospital viewers watched as Brook Lynn and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bonded over drinks on Tuesday.
Since Brook Lynn is a singer who can’t sing and Valentin is a lover who can’t be with the one he loves, that brought a connection.
It wasn’t long until Brook Lynn and Valentin were leaning in for a kiss, but they ultimately took things to a suite based on Wednesday’s GH preview video. “You know I don’t regret anything that happened last night; I hope you don’t either,” shirtless Valentin says under the covers in that clip.
It looks like Brook Lynn will be busy putting Valentin’s dress shirt on nearby. Brook Lynn seemed confident in what she was doing, so hopefully she won’t have any regrets either.
