General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 28, reveal that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) got a chocolate bar out of the hospital vending machine, only to get yelled at by Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) over taking the last one.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) ambled up and caught Epiphany mid-rant about hospital policies, and he offered to hear Epiphany’s thoughts about changes that needed to be made.
Franco then interjected that they were all headed to karaoke night at the Floating Rib, and he invited Cyrus to come along. Epiphany was horrified, and Cyrus promised to be there later.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) talked with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) near the elevators, and the topic of Willow’s annulment to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) came up.
As Willow and Elizabeth talked, Willow explained that Michael should be able to share all his good qualities with someone special, and Elizabeth said that it sounds like he already is.
Over at the Floating Rib, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) apologized to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) for overstepping with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) the other day.
Chase agreed to let Brook Lynn stay at his apartment for a while longer, and Brook Lynn gushed about how tonight was karaoke night and that she planned to sing.
A short time later, Epiphany, Franco, and Elizabeth walked in, and Epiphany shared with Elizabeth that she and Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood) were breaking up.
Epiphany seemed very upset about the whole thing, but she insisted that Elizabeth not mention it for the remainder of the evening. Meanwhile, over at the bar, Cyrus surprised Franco by offering to buy the next round.
Soon, Brook Lynn took the stage, but she crashed and burned and couldn’t sing. Brook Lynn ran off stage and outside, where Chase tracked her down. Brook Lynn was upset, saying that she couldn’t do the one thing that gave her purpose, and she ran off, leaving Chase alone.
Cyrus and Franco approached Epiphany and Elizabeth with drinks, and Cyrus planned to sing something from the 70s.
Epiphany got up and sang a sad romantic number, with Cyrus, Elizabeth, and Franco thoroughly enjoying the whole thing. When it was Cyrus’ turn, he got a text and had to go.
Franco and Epiphany talked a bit, and Epiphany told Franco jokingly that she had decided that he could have the chocolate bar. Franco quipped that he had already eaten it, and he got up to get them all another round.
Epiphany told Franco that she hoped he knew how good he had it with Elizabeth, and just then Franco collapsed to the floor.
At the gym, Michael punched the bag and thought about kissing Willow. Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) arrived and called Michael out on wanting Willow.
Michael admitted that he didn’t really want an annulment, and Dante said that Michael was being an idiot and that he should tell Willow how he feels. Michael lamented that Willow wasn’t in love with him, and Dante said that Michael didn’t know that.
Suddenly, Willow walked in and interrupted, and later she returned to find Michael alone. Michael and Willow decided to each get cleaned up from their workouts and meet up in a few minutes.
Michael took a shower, imagining for a moment that Willow joined him. And in the ladies’ shower, Willow imagined that Michael joined her. Willow and Michael then regrouped in the main area of the gym and left together.
At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) penthouse, she and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) arrived, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) could instantly tell that something was very wrong with Sasha.
Sasha went to clean up in the restroom, and she did some drugs while she was in there. Carly followed Sasha and came into the bathroom a short time later.
Carly wanted to know what was wrong with Sasha, but Sasha insisted that she was fine. Carly said that Sasha didn’t look fine, and that if Michael knew what she had sacrificed and how much she was hurting, then he’d have something to say about it.
Sasha said that Michael won’t know about what she’s going through, because he finally has Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Theo and Erik Olson) and Willow.
Sasha then rushed out of the bathroom and out into the main area of the penthouse where Nina and Jax were talking about how Jax has a special relationship with Carly.
Sasha told Nina that she wasn’t staying, and she took off in a hurry. Outside the penthouse, Sasha called her drug dealer and said that she needed a refill. A few minutes later, Carly took off after Sasha.
Outside somewhere, Sasha answered a call from her drug dealer, who said that he or she couldn’t show up. Sasha got very agitated and suddenly Cyrus appeared saying that there were cheaper ways to channel frustration. “What’s the trouble, and how can I help?” Cyrus asked Sasha.
At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) stood on the parapet. Nikolas had asked to meet Ava there, and Ava came prepared with a knife, just in case.
As she wielded the knife, Ava reiterated her demand that she wanted Nikolas to divorce her. “Done,” Nikolas said, and he and Ava went inside, where he whipped out divorce papers that he had drawn up.
Nikolas said that he’d divorce Ava, but that there was a catch – she couldn’t have him if they divorced. Ava got peeved, and Nikolas went on about how he just wanted to force her hand and make sure that she had feelings for him.
Ava said that of course she had feelings for Nikolas, but that if she remained in the marriage, then people may pay. Nikolas wondered what that meant.
As Ava and Nikolas argued, Ava was still holding the knife, and as they moved toward each other, Ava ended up stabbing Nikolas slightly in the abdomen. Nikolas and Ava gave into passion and made love, then Nikolas revealed that the divorce papers weren’t real.
Ava got upset and walked out, and Nikolas smiled, telling himself that Ava liked him.
