General Hospital Spoilers: Week of July 20 – Dad Heartbreak, Cyrus Has Company and Julian's a 'Lying Jerk'

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 20-24 tease that some exciting moments will be revisited. GH will take us back to some early May encores as we await the return of new episodes. There’s a lot to catch up on as we prepare for more shockers and shakeups, so here’s what’s coming up in the week ahead.

On Monday, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) punches Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) learns she’s been disbarred. Meanwhile, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) tries to nudge Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into testifying on her behalf.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is concerned about the outcome for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) if Nina goes through with helping Nelle. Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she has major suspicions regarding the true story of Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death.

On Tuesday, Sasha gets her nose checked out by Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), who hopes Sasha and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will come clean about the fake affair.

Next, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) meets with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on the pier. Curtis is frustrated over how long Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) destruction is taking.

Nevertheless, Jason warns that the takedown can’t be rushed or else mistakes could be made. Sonny assures Curtis that he does have a plan – and it’s already in motion. After Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) confronts Cyrus later, Curtis takes his turn. He insists Cyrus needs to stay away from Trina and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Wednesday’s GH episode Chase taunts Brook Lynn following her arrest. In the PCPD interrogation room, Brook Lynn makes some phone calls trying to get someone to bail her out.

Chase pushes Brook Lynn’s buttons, so she calls him a “man slut” and a “lying jerk.” After Julian Jerome (William deVry) finally helps Brook Lynn, Nelle listens in on their conversation and scores major blackmail material.

Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), they discuss what their marriage would look like. Michael talks about how much he values his friendship with Willow and argues that their marriage would still be based on love – albeit it a different kind.

Willow’s in agreement on everything and ultimately accepts Michael’s marriage proposal.

On Thursday, Sonny learns Michael and Willow want to tie the knot. He nixes their plan to fly to Vegas since he can pull some strings and allow them to get married right there in Port Charles.

After Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is called to officiate, Sasha and Nelle get the scoop on the impending nuptials. That leaves Nelle riled up and determined to make a countermove.

While Nelle arrives at Charlie’s Pub to blackmail Julian into marrying her, Michael and Willow wed at the Quartermaine mansion. Down by the docks, a glum Chase and Sasha drown their sorrows.

Back with Trina, she blames Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) for Cyrus walking free. In Trina’s opinion, Curtis and Jordan are just as bad as Cyrus.

Friday’s General Hospital episode brings Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) visit with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). After Ava Jerome (Maura West) takes Avery to visit her grandpa, Ava apologizes to Sonny for trying to use Mike’s Alzheimer’s against him at one point.

Mike’s confusion led to him inadvertently kidnapping Avery, so Ava’s sorry about threatening to press charges.

Elsewhere, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) explodes over Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) going to “Take your dad to school day” with Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan). Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) explains this is what Rocco wanted and that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be represented through a Yankees cap.

Over with Mac Scorpio (John J. York), he pushes Chase to back off Brook Lynn. Chase could be accused of harassment if he doesn’t stop with all the arrests. Mac also updates Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) on some news regarding Holly’s demise. Robert gets a report as Mac insists Holly’s ship may not have gone down by accident.
