General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will eventually get some shocking news. GH fans know Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) pretended to betray Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Since marrying Willow gave Michael the best shot at winning custody, Sasha and Chase feel they did what they had to do. It was the only way to push Willow into tying the knot with Michael.
Chase and Sasha’s plan paid off, but they’re certainly suffering because of it. Michael and Willow have also suffered thanks to their lying exes, even if those lies were told for a good cause. What happens when the truth finally comes out? Will Willow regret marrying Michael once she knows Chase never cheated?
Whether Willow learns the real story from someone else or perhaps Chase himself, you can bet she’ll confront Chase at some point. Willow will surely want to hear Chase’s side of the story. Chase will likely let his emotions pour out and admit it broke his heart to hurt Willow like that.
Although the affair was fake, the pain Willow felt was very real. In the end, Chase just feared it’d hurt Willow more if she stayed with him. Chase and Willow may revisit some of the issues they discussed before the faux betrayal went down.
How would Willow have felt if she skipped this marriage and Michael lost custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson)? Could Willow have lived with herself if she hadn’t given Michael his best possible chance of defeating Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier)?
Willow may understand why Chase lied to her, but she should still be irritated that he made the decision for her. Even so, Willow’s a compassionate gal who should get that Chase wanted to help and didn’t quite know how. General Hospital viewers know Chase made a bad call, but at least he had a positive goal in mind.
Willow may still see Chase as the kindhearted man she fell in love with, so that brings us back to the topic of regrets. Will Willow have any when it comes to this Michael marriage? Willow might hate that things had to be this way and wish they could be different, but it’s doubtful Willow will truly regret marrying Michael.
Chase was right about putting Wiley first, so part of Willow may even be grateful that Chase nudged her into this marriage – even if she doesn’t like how he did it. As other GH info comes in, we’ll deliver more updates.
