General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has been welcomed into the Corinthos family with open arms so far. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) expressed a few reservations privately to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who admittedly isn’t in love with Willow yet. However, Michael was completely confident in his decision to marry Willow and truly cares about her.
Despite Sonny’s concerns, he’s been supportive as well. Sonny proved that when he pulled some strings so Willow and Michael didn’t have to fly to Vegas for their last-minute nuptials. Thanks to Sonny, Michael was able to marry Willow right there in the Quartermaine mansion living room.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also supports the duo since she feels Willow might actually be good enough for her big brother. Of course, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) – the toughest critic of all – also approves.
Carly admires Willow for making this sacrifice for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) sake and believes this will all work out for the best.
Nevertheless, it’s unrealistic to think things will remain this rosy forever! Plenty of people clash with their mothers-in-law in the real world, but it’s even more common on soaps.
Is a war between Willow and Carly just around the corner? It just might be due to the huge secret Carly’s keeping.
GH fans know Carly’s in the loop on the fake affair between Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Carly refused to let Sasha confirm it since that’d mean she’d have to tell Michael, but she should’ve told Michael anyway! It seems like Carly thinks she can get off on a technicality, but that’s not how it works.
The truth is Carly’s aware that this betrayal was completely bogus. As a mother who cares about her son, she should’ve let Michael know what was up. Likewise, Carly shouldn’t have let Willow marry Michael without having all the facts. Unfortunately, what’s done is done – and General Hospital spoilers say that could mean terrible news for Sasha.
It’s clear that Sasha’s struggling to cope following her split from Michael. Losing Michael made Sasha realize just how much she loved him, so now she’s turning to drugs as a way to deal with the pain.
That can only end in disaster, so Sasha will probably overdose at some point. Whether Sasha lives or dies, this is going to be a horrible ordeal – one that could convince Carly to confess.
Michael will naturally be upset over Carly’s deception, but what about Willow? She’ll have every right to be angry, too! It’s easy to imagine Willow ripping into Carly for allowing Sasha’s downward spiral. Sasha was a good friend of Willow’s before all the faux cheating drama went down.
There’s also the matter of Willow still being in love with Chase. If Willow had known the affair was fake, she might not have married Michael. By keeping quiet, Carly altered the course of Willow’s life.
That’s obviously what Carly wanted since Michael’s marriage to Willow gave him a better shot of beating Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) in court, but it wasn’t Carly’s call to make.
Once Willow learns her new mother-in-law was part of the secret circle, she may choose to blast Carly. It’d be fun to see the tension explode over this shocker! As other GH details come in, we’ll pass along the latest updates.
