Villanelle is done. She told Dasha she wants out and now she has to explain it to the others. She has to tell management she wants out. Villanelle met with Hélène. Hélène knew everything there was about Villanelle and she called Villanelle her beautiful monster. She thought it was a shame that Villanelle didn’t want to kill anymore, but while she was there, Villanelle changed her mind. She suddenly wanted a new mission. She was injured and she couldn’t be trusted to operate on her own. She, therefore, agreed to bring Dasha with her. Villanelle was given a new mission and whatever passing fantasy she had of retirement had faded away.
Villanelle fell back into her old ways. She chose to accept her promotion and news of it had made it back to Eve. Eve tried to warn Carolyn. She told Carolyn that Villanelle was moving up the ranks and that they needed to capture her. Except Carolyn didn’t want to hear it. She accused Eve of having a messiah complex and she said only in Hollywood do heroes get the girl. Carolyn wanted Eve to let go of the Villanelle hunt. Eve felt differently and so Eve pursued it anyways. She went into the garbage can to look for her old birthday cake. She knew Villanelle had sent it to her and so she wanted to track down.
She later found the bakery box. She turned to Bear for help searching for the bakery and once they both got back to the office they found out they had been raided. The information they had been gathering had gotten collected. The government had raided them. The government does this from time to time and so no one was concerned. Eve was still sent on tracing the cake order. She had Bear look into it and he found the order. He also connected it to a credit card. Eve asked him to search the credit card information and he did so illegally because they figured they couldn’t get raided twice in a day.
They were looking for Villanelle. Villanelle meanwhile was working with Dasha again and the two women were getting on each other’s nerves. Dasha couldn’t wait to go back to Russia. She thought her life would be made once she got there and Villanelle told her she wouldn’t get a hero’s welcome. The world has moved on since Dasha left. Villanelle said no one was going to care about her and Dasha proved her wrong by saying she still has her son waiting for her. Dasha pointed out how she’ll enjoy her last days knowing she is loved. She then told Villanelle that Villanelle was going to die alone now that she’s pushed everyone she’s ever cared about away and so Dasha won.
Dasha hurt Villanelle more than she knew. Villanelle tried to move on and the two women later went golfing. They were enjoying themselves when they spotted some Americans. Dasha and Villanelle wanted to kill the loudest one for being annoying and Villanelle had told Dasha that she could take the lead on this one. Villanelle tried to claim it was a retirement present, but Dasha saw right through her. Dasha accused Villanelle of giving her the kill because she was too afraid she couldn’t do it herself and so Villanelle had to kill him. They both pretended to be Scottish women who lost their ball in the trees.
They asked the big strong American to come help. They separated him from his group and then the plan was to kill him when he wasn’t looking. Villanelle set it up to look like she was going through with his plan. Then at the last minute she changed her mind again. She didn’t kill the American. She instead targeted Dasha and she let the American run away with his life. He would go looking for help. He would run across Eve and she demanded to know where this beautiful who hit her mother was. Eve then got her driver to take her to the area and she was a little too late in catching Villanelle.
Villanelle got away because she had a ride. Konstantin came to pick her up and he told her they were going to go after his money. Konstantin was still looking for the money. He left his daughter at the detention center because he couldn’t bribe his way into getting her out of trouble and he also got into an argument with Geraldine. She tried to get his attention with a surprise dinner. He hadn’t reacted well and so her feelings were hurt. Konstantin didn’t want to deal with those feelings. Its why he was genuinely considering going to Cuba with Villanelle. He told her how everyone was upset with him and that maybe he should leave while he still can.
Konstantin had taken her to the train station. They were going to get on when someone bumped into him and not long afterward he had an attack. Konstantin had a heart attack. He didn’t have long and so he gave Villanelle what little he had before he lost consciousness. She then ran with the information. She was leaving on the train when Eve arrived and Eve saw Villanelle getaway. She couldn’t have stopped her, but she at least knew she got away and that she was close. Eve had tracked down Villanelle using the credit card information she had illegally found. She tracked Villanelle’s purchases and then she tracked the bodies.
Eve came across Dasha out in the woods. Dasha told her that Nico has a strong mustache like Stalin and so Eve came close to killing her because she figured out what Dasha had done. She put her foot on Dasha’s chest. She was implying pressure when she sorta had to stop because witnesses were coming by. Eve couldn’t get away with killing Dasha and so she went looking for Villanelle again and she found Konstantin. Konstantin was rushed to the hospital. He was going to be fine and funnily enough the patient next to his bed was Dasha. They were laughing about their situations as Villanelle called Eve.
It was out of the blue and of course Villanelle had something smart to say.
