The quintuplets are growing up. The little girls were growing into their personalities and they weren’t so much the quintuplets anymore. Riley was sort of the leader amongst them. She was in an older grade because she was a smart kid. She was smart enough to skip a grade. This created some separation between her and her sisters. Riley didn’t seem to mind it. She would proudly say she’s in Kindergarten and her sisters are in Pre-K. She went around introducing them. Her sisters were in different sets of Pre-K and so it’s not like they were in their own separate club from Riley. She went to each class to show off her sisters.

Ava was sensitive. Hazel was boy-crazy. The girls have developed their own attitude and Hazel could be pretty sassy whenever her sisters ask her about her boyfriend. Hazel would just tell them “so”. She was proud to have a boyfriend and he was the son of her parents’ friend and so the adults at least knew him. Then there was Blayke. She was the oldest. She was older than the quintuplets and right now she’s setting herself apart by identifying her own space. She tells her younger sisters not to touch her things. They couldn’t go into her room without asking her permission. Blayke also takes care of her sisters if they’re all together and so her dad tries to do father-daughter boding her alone so that she could catch a break.

All six children weren’t in school all day because the four of them were still in preschool. This means that their mom has to take them to work with her and that makes things difficult. Danielle opened her own business. She now runs an online boutique and she’s able to do so because she finally solved her medical issues. She suffered from pains for years. She would sometimes be too sick to look after the children and so that all changed once she got her hysterectomy. She had needed to remove her uterus because she had developed polyps. She feels better now that it’s gone and it’s also been a little weird knowing she couldn’t have more children physically.

It felt odd to her knowing that chapter was over. Danielle is glad she isn’t in pain anymore and she’s doing great with her online boutique. She couldn’t wait for the day the kids would be in school all day. She talked about it with them and they had decided on partners in class. Everyone wanted to team up and it was only Ava that wanted to be by herself. Ava said she wanted to be a grown-up when she gets to Kindergarten. She didn’t want to be with her sisters and so independence is already kicking in. There was also fire safety. The parents went over what to do with kids if there was ever a fire at the house and Buzz took it very seriously.

They have six small children. His father was a fire chief at the refinery and so Buzz made sure that each of his daughters knew what to do in case of a fire. The girls were taught everything. They now knew what to do and they could go about their regular lives. The girls later went on a trip. Their mom had wanted to do something special for Valentine’s Day. She involved all her kids in creating hearts and each heart would tell daddy how much they love him. It was going to be a nice surprise only the girls faced their own surprise when there was smoke at their house. Riley for the first to notice the smoke. She saw it right before the fire alarm went off and so the family did what they practiced.

It turns out to have been a drill. Their dad put together to make sure the girls were taking it seriously and he got his brother-in-law to help. Only Dale forgot to turn off the machine. There was an actual threat of the fire alarms and luckily they got to them in time. The girls hadn’t liked the drill. They started calling their Uncle Dale “Uncle Doofus” for his mistake. They were also pretty agitated and so it wasn’t a good time for their dad to break his news. He had to tell the girls he couldn’t take them to the father-daughter dance. He had taken his older daughter to one. And so it was just the quintuplets that were going to be missing out.

Their dad later broke the news to them. He took them out to ice cream first before he did it and then he told them. He also told them how much he loved them. He went around and told each girl what he loves the most about her. So, they returned the favor. They told him what they love about him and Parker even said she loves him because he makes her feel safe. She was the child that was struggling with her anxiety. The fact her dad makes her feel safe is huge and her dad appreciated hearing it. The girls also thought they would miss out on a dance and it turns out their mom ended up giving them one anyway.

Danielle put together Valentine’s dance. She invited family members and they plus her own family had a great dance.

Danielle also got to enjoy some alone time with her husband once the kids went to bed.

THE END!
