The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we should talk about the portrait on Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wall – the one of Steffy and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that needs to come down.
All signs point to Steffy finally removing that “Steam” photo soon, but what happens after that? Could a picture of Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) ultimately replace it?
Steffy might put up a new pic with Finn down the road, so let’s talk about the motivation behind it. Here are three reasons Steffy should replace the “Steam” portrait with one featuring “Sinn.”
1) The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Liam’s new attitude put to the test
Liam finally agreed to take a step back and let Steffy move on, but can he stick to that plan? Perhaps Steffy should put Liam’s new attitude to the test. If Steffy not only takes down that pic but puts up one with Finn, she can see how Liam reacts and know if he meant what he said.
This is Steffy’s life and her wall! If Steffy wants a “Sinn” portrait up there, then she’s free to go for it.
2) The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: seals Finn’s place in Steffy and Kelly’s lives
The closer Finn gets to Steffy, the bigger part of Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) life he’ll be. Liam will always be Kelly’s dad, so Finn isn’t trying to take Liam’s place. At the same time, Finn deserves a place of his own. He may be Kelly’s future stepfather, so Kelly needs to know he’s an important part of their lives.
Steffy’s “Steam” pic was meant to show Kelly that there’d always be love between her parents, but they can surely show Kelly that through positive co-parenting interactions.
There’s no need for a giant Liam and Steffy on display. Steffy may want to show Finn that he’s earned a hopefully permanent place in her life as well as Kelly’s – and she can easily do that with a portrait swap.
3) The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: eliminate awkwardness after Finn moves in
If all goes well, Finn should be moving in with Steffy before you know it. B&B fans know Steffy and Finn have already exchanged professions of love. Finn has also been pitching in at home with Steffy – and Kelly really likes him. The Bold and the Beautiful is laying the groundwork for cohabitation soon enough.
Naturally, it’d be weird for Finn to wake up every morning and have to pass by a photo of Steffy with her ex. As Finn begins this next chapter with Steffy, she can help kick it off by replacing that “Steam” pic.
It’d eliminate the awkwardness if Steffy puts up a “Sinn” photo instead. It’s far more normal to have a picture prominently displayed of the man you’re currently with!
