The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap star recently clarified her character’s relationship status. B&B fans will recall that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) had a private wedding ceremony at home, which included homemade “bride” and “groom” T-shirts. Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) officiated while Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) served as a witness.
Of course, none of that was legal, so that led to some confusion among Bold and the Beautiful viewers. Hope and Liam talked about making things official later, so Annika Noelle was asked about the marriage in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. Noelle assured fans that based on everything she knows, Hope and Liam indeed tied the knot.
“Yes, from my understanding, from what I have been told, from our writers and from other people, they are married,” Noelle said. “They said in the dialogue they were going to the courthouse the next day, off-screen, and are now officially husband and wife.”
There was no need to do another big wedding for Hope and Liam, so B&B made the right call doing this sweet, simple event. It also served as a way to solidify Liam, Hope, Douglas and Beth as a family unit.
After everything that had gone down with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), fans were able to see that Douglas was fine and embracing “Lope” instead of “Thope.”
Now that Liam and Hope are married again, their future seems secure for now. However, that could easily change down the road. Liam’s always going to be a waffler at heart, so that could spell trouble for Liam and Hope’s reunion.
After Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new man comes on the scene, that could cause issues as well. Liam’s jealousy could certainly lead to Hope feeling uneasy. There are plenty of ways for B&B to split “Lope” up when the time goes, but they should enjoy some bliss on the backburner for at least a little while.
