The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new man remains a casting mystery. There’s no news yet on who’ll be portraying the new guy in Steffy’s life, so that certainly leaves plenty of possibilities open. Let’s consider a General Hospital alum and some of the benefits there’d be to hiring him.
Ryan Paevey played Nathan West on GH before departing the show in 2018. Many General Hospital fans were crushed to lose such a handsome, talented performer, but Paevey has stayed busy with Hallmark movies and other projects. Even so, there’s no doubt that Paevey would be welcomed back to the soap world with open arms.
Could Ryan Paevey be the actor cast as Steffy’s new man? It’s a great option to mull over since Paevey was popular on General Hospital. The Bold and the Beautiful would be smart to capitalize on that and hire Paevey at B&B.
It’s worth mentioning that Paevey’s character on GH was a detective. Paevey was excellent at playing the part, so we could see Steffy falling for a hot detective on B&B, too! Of course, Paevey could also pass for a business executive or even a doctor. There’d be no shortage of careers for Steffy’s new man since Paevey could fit in about any mold.
Paevey is also 35, so that puts him at pretty much the perfect age to play Steffy’s love interest. Steffy’s new man wouldn’t be too old or too young. Since B&B viewers have been waiting so long on a new guy for Steffy, it’s important for the show to make the right choices!
Paevey would check off all the boxes and would likely have some sizzling onscreen chemistry with Wood.
