The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) recently opened up about an important topic: his mom. As Mother’s Day approaches and moms are taking center stage, Diamont talked to Soap Opera Digest about his own mother and what he got in trouble for when he was younger.
You might think “Dollar Bill’s” portrayer would’ve been a real troublemaker, but it turns out that wasn’t the case – at least not in Mom’s eyes! Diamont was the youngest child in his family, so he suggested that had something to do with it. The Bold and the Beautiful star didn’t usually get on his mom’s bad side.
“I could do no wrong with Mom,” Diamont admitted. “I was the baby, the apple of Mom’s eye, so it was hard for me to get in trouble.” However, Diamont thought about it a bit more and determined that there was one troublesome area. Many soap parents disapprove of who their children date, so that’s on thing Diamont can relate to in real life.
“I guess the worst trouble was dating,” Diamont said. “She was not a fan, no matter who it was, because no girl was good enough for her son.” Bill’s had a lot to say about his sons’ love lives on B&B over the years, so maybe Diamont’s experience with his mom gave him some practice! It’s cute that Diamont’s mother was so adoring and protective.
Once production resumes on The Bold and the Beautiful, it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Bill. Many fans would like to see a romantic shakeup for Bill, but others are hoping he can repair the damage with Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
Of course, some business battles would be fun, too. Bill’s at his best when he’s scheming, so let’s hope B&B can deliver some sneaky plans.
Diamont may not have been much of a troublemaker with his mom, but Bill’s certainly a troublemaker on The Bold and the Beautiful! B&B viewers are looking forward to the twists and turns ahead for Bill.
