The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Tanner Novlan will first appear as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan on Thursday, July 23. So far, B&B’s revealed that Finn is Steffy’s next love interest. We also know Finn works at the hospital where Steffy will receive treatment following her upcoming crash.
However, there’s obviously more to this guy than good looks and a medical degree. The Bold and the Beautiful will have to reveal other details about Finn’s past and personality. B&B viewers are excited to see what this doc’s all about, so here are three burning Finn questions the show will have to answer.
1) What kind of family and background does Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan come from?
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of family Finn comes from in new B&B episodes. Are Finn’s parents still alive? Does Finn have any siblings? The Bold and the Beautiful might even bring some of Finn’s family members on the show eventually, which could lead to great story opportunities.
Other parts of Finn’s background might be important as well. He seems like the kind of guy who probably worked hard to put himself through medical school.
Finn might struggle to connect to the glitz and glamour of the fashion world, especially if he doesn’t come from money. There’d be some intriguing places to go with that angle once Finn starts dating Steffy.
2) Did someone break Dr. Finn’s heart?
Most people have a few former flames, so what about Finn’s exes? Did somebody shatter Finn’s heart once upon a time? It might be good to give Finn a few walls – just so Steffy can be the one to bring them down.
Plus, Steffy’s had her own heart broken by Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) on more than one occasion. Maybe Steffy could relate if Finn shares a similar story of feeling like a runner-up love interest. B&B will find ways for Steffy and Finn to bond, so connecting over past heartache is an easy route to take.
3) Does Bold and Beautiful’s Finn have any buried secrets or big mistakes that haunt him?
Finn may be Steffy’s Mr. Right, but no one is perfect! This doctor may have some flaws or even mistakes in his past that haunt him. Perhaps there was that one patient he couldn’t save or a misdiagnosis that nearly destroyed his career.
Finn must have a story or two to tell Steffy when he’s ready. The more Finn opens up and shares his secrets, the closer he can get to Steffy on upcoming new B&B episodes.
